Looked at the online manual... just says charging problem and contact Giant retailer. I have the same bike in a Liv version (smart charger) but no issues yet. I hope the solution is simple. At the shop you could at least try a different charger. Let us know how it goes. 🚴‍♀️

On my Liv it was an extra 1 1/2-2 inches with the Kinekt, 1/2 inch with the Thudbuster. Moving the seat too far forward put my knee out of optimum position. In general, and by comparison, I think men have longer torsos. 🚴‍♀️

The 2020 sync pro motor is quieter than the 2019. I’ve ridden both in the mountains on pavement but honestly, no big deal with either. Giant claims this year‘s motor is 18% quieter...seems true. My older Vall e+ 2018 sport motor is loudest but still not annoying. I agree with @Browneye, Yamaha...

Yes, update might actually cause me to give up ‘control’ once in a while. Over 20mph headwinds and made the journey much easier... less changing power modes. Cadence and speed even. 2020 Liv Intrigue... Wonderful! 🚴‍♀️

Ok... it works! No active cellphone. (Browneye, to your comment, I do have to press the SAVE RIDE button to save the map and other data after the ride before turning the bike off.) This should work on Ride One Control bikes 2019-2020. To set up, I turned the bike off, downloaded the Giant Ride...

The phone has no service just WiFi. Perhaps it connected to public WiFi on my ride. I will ride with it in the boonies and see what happens.... stay tuned. At home connected to WiFi it downloaded the Giant App and I was able to update the bike’s firmware. 🚴‍♀️

Disappointed that my new Liv Intrigue did not come with a display ( especially as I was hitting it probably too fast downhill) my mind wandered.... I wonder if Ride Control One would link with an old SE iPhone? Bottom line.... sure thing!!! 🤸‍♀️I turned on bluetooth and connected it using WiFi...

MayL what you heard is typical for Giant/Liv. I was told there would be an added charge to have my bike serviced if I did not buy it at that particular shop (unlike a dealer vehicle purchase). I made many calls last week regarding this. Cannot say about the other brands. 🚴‍♀️.
