I have a 2017 Ultra with the nylon gears and I still haven't had a problem. And I do my best to break it every time I ride it.:) Have had the metal gears in my garage for years but I won't swap them until the nylon fails. Zero noise , presently and I like that.

There's quite a difference in comfort from a 2" to 4". Or in my case 3.5" road tires. Hate knobbies on the street.

That's funny, what I like about my bike is it's long and stable. Not that nimble and that's OK with me. I want the stability of a big bike. I rode a Trek the other day and it seemed like a children's bike in comparison. Just a personal preference.

With the stock chainring, I was in top gear all the time. Now, I 'm able to use about five gears but it just seems a little too much. I would recommend a 48T.

I have a 52T on my Ultra and it has worked out so far. With the stock 44, I was always in top gear . That said, I might drop it back to a 48 or 50.

I don't hate the other makers, in fact I would buy any of them I liked. I rode them and I wanted a powerful motor for a fat tire bike. The Felt I tried out wasn't even close to my bike. I did ride a Trek Super Commuter and it was quite nice but not the right bike for me. I'd love to try the...
