Throttle Attachment - what bikes fit?

I appreciate your excitement. To shift from 9 to 1, using your thumb on the shifter in front will work for sure. To shift from 1 to 9, using your index, you need to pull the shifter lever. If you look at my photo, it protrudes to the right, over the throttle, even something very thin prevents...

Throttle Attachment - what bikes fit?

That is a timely question. I ride a Téo Fat Bike, with what looks to be the same throttle and grip. The difference though is with the shifter. The Téo has a 9 speed Shimano Alivio, which uses thumb and index. I tried other throttle attachments and that all interfere with either the front...

Some pics of my Téo. Went for a 70 km ride today. A blast! Soooo happy with my purchase. Love it.

If the battery meter is correct, I am very impressed with the range. When I was half way, at the Scarborough Bluffs, for those who know the area, it had only gone down to 3-4 bars. I live in the village of Brooklin, in North Whitby. When I came back home I had solid 2 bars, and I clocked it for...

It was a Kickstarter crowd funded product. Have a look at the video. I think it's useless, just trying to convince myself it's not

Some pics of my Téo. Went for a 70 km ride today. A blast! Soooo happy with my purchase. Love it.

I used PA 3 to 5. I throttled only towards the end, as my wife called: "where are you? You've been gone for close to 3.5 hours... She was waiting for me to come back to go and see our grandkids...oops. I had flickering 2-3 bars left. Very impressed. It was mostly flats. I rode from home to...

Riding an e-bike in "no-assist" mode - how heavy is ok?

Another factor is price. Of course it's relative. For some $2000 is OK, for other $4000 is OK. A friend, who drives a $80,000 Audi thinks his $6000 bike is pretty cheap... I drive a $20,000 Toyota  You will find that light E-bikes are 'relatively' expensive.

Hello from the Isle of Wight

Welcome to you @Ariche from another rider in Canada. I had to lookup your beautiful area on Google Maps. Must be a great place to ride an E-bike. Best regards.

    Front fender was rubbing...

When I installed the front fender on my Téo Limited I put the upper bracket between the light and the fork brace. The screw is a tad short and I could not put the nut on the end of the screw if I put the bracket at the rear... This effectively moved the fender forward by as much as 3/4". The...

    bike locks, what's the pick?(ha)

I think it's an age thing, the Matrix is a lot newer... I'm more of a fan of Bond films or Dr Evil... Sorry I missed it.

    bike locks, what's the pick?(ha)

"MISTER PETERSEN" pronounced as a major vilain in a Bond film would :)

    bike locks, what's the pick?(ha)

You'll love it. In my case, I could not mount it right under the seat, I had to use the bracket for the seat post. The new seat has a handle that protrudes down... So since you have the 1st Gen seat, oh and you even upgraded yours, it will probably fit. I love the seat handle by the way...

    bike locks, what's the pick?(ha)

More seriously, I think any lock can be bypassed. You can read that even the best "rated" ones have been useless on many occasion. Bottom line, get a lock that makes sense to you, with decent reviews on Amazon for example, maybe a chain or solid cable too. In my case I got a U-lock recommended...

    bike locks, what's the pick?(ha)

The very best security for your bike. They follow me everywhere I go. They don't always wear suits.

Maybe the Red ones are faster?!

Oh wow, that is Warp speed. Those poor Black or White Téo owners. I pity them. Glad you're enjoying it.

Hello from Everywhere! Friends and Visits?

I also would like to extend my thanks to you @Court, you have provided all the information I could have wanted to help me make a wise decision on a good E-bike. In my case à Téo Fat Bike is just what the doctor ordered. I have taken delivery and could not be happier. It has exceeded my...
