Someone needs to get Elon Musk excited about E-bikes...

    Accessories for the Fold

When you add the accessories, they're very close in price, albeit a small battery. But, as I've heard, size is not the most important ;)

    Accessories for the Fold

Yes, saw that too. I've seen paint issues as well, where the paint was not dry or cured before bolts were put on, now the seat post, very thin-walled. Think I'm going to go with either Mariner or Voltbike, better warranty as well.

Who is , or will be , the Dell of ebikes ?

I don't think there is a Michael Dell for E-bikes currently. Not in the US or Canada. North America, that is US and Canada, has this passion for cars like no other place in the world. It is a constant struggle with all levels of government to have anything to do with bicycles recognized. We...

    750W, new model?

Maybe I'm wrong but I think it's the same bike, with a different part number, for the US market, where 750W is allowed (in most states). The G06 model Bafang hub in the standard Téo is rated 500/750 nominal. For Canada it's limited by software to 500W. In my humble opinion, but I could be wrong.

    Accessories for the Fold

I've seen a picture of a Fold with fenders, rear rack and lights, can't find it anymore, but that's OK. My question is: are those accessories available from Sondors? There's nothing on the web site. I'm looking at a Rad mini, Voltbike Mariner or similarly equipped folding, reasonably priced...

Stock Kenda vs. Mongoose Fat Tire Inner Tube

I think it's the other way around... 30 TPI is more puncture resistant than 120 TPI. At least that is what got from many tire manufacturer's web site.

Afternoon all! Newbie here from Glastonbury UK

Unfortunately no, it was never at the right time of year. I was there for business and my office was in Cardiff, I still have a motorbike there in a friend's garage... Well he was still my friend last we spoke

Afternoon all! Newbie here from Glastonbury UK

I think most of us are from the USA and Canada, as I am. But am sure that all are welcome. So, welcome. I've been to Glastonbury a few times, visited King Arthur's tomb and had a few pints at his pub. Somerset is a beautiful area.

    Downhill both ways... :)

Will do. My wife and I will be visiting the West next year with our RV, my Téo will be at the back. We're gone for 4 months, Tofino has been on our bucket list for a while. I'll drop you an email when we're in your area.

Some pics of my Téo. Went for a 70 km ride today. A blast! Soooo happy with my purchase. Love it.

But I have my phone... All is not lost... hey, I'm an IT guy, worked with computers since 1981...retired now, but still very connected!

Stock Kenda vs. Mongoose Fat Tire Inner Tube

I just picked up those Mongoose tubes for $13.99 each on Amazon. Got a pair and free shipping. I'll put them on, with MrTuffys and Origin8 tires. Should be well equipped.

How to charge a e bike battery when out for a ride

I have purchased a Luna charger, where the amp setting is variable. But then I read that charging above 3A will melt the barrel connector... So I'm confused. What connector do you have your battery to charge it?

Téo Impressions after a few rides

I think the manual is wrong... You can shift at anytime, PA or not, one just needs to pedal forward and be smooth and cautious. In my humble opinion.

    Google maps for cycling

Not sure if you have tried using Google Maps bicycle routes. Well I have and am so darned impressed. In my neighbourhood there are many paths between homes, in treed areas, in forest here and there. When I use Google maps it will tell me turn right here to reach XyZ street and wonder...

    Downhill both ways... :)

Very well said @Jazzcat I could not agree with you more. Many of my friends, if not most of them, even my kids, question the e-bike concept and that upsets me. They kinda give me that funny look.. "Oh, an electric bike..." I have a few vegan, muffin eating, Lululemon or spandex short wearing...

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

From the review, I've learned... - The wheels, good design - The front and rear spokes, number of them and sizes/diameter - the seat handle... I use it all the time to lift my bike, will be cautious now - the pedals are better than average - the pedal cranks/arms? are well sized - I guess the...
