    What Would You Have Done?

I have a nice Greenlee draw knife, and several spokes shaves. I use them from time to time to rough out square stock to round when I need. Correct tool for the job.

    What Would You Have Done?

Except for the aimlessly ax swinging thing. That's what the street crazies in Hollywood do. Judgment call. Glad you're okay though.

    What Would You Have Done?

I think it's odd behavior, hardly something you'd carry on a hike. A properly holstered pistol would worry me less than a dude aimlessly swinging an ax around. A definitely "had to be there" judgment call.

    Cannabis, how is it legalized?

So to my point, weeds typically die at the end of a season, so are you saying it won't grow like a house plant does, and dies off at the end of each season? That's my question, is it seasonal? Like a tomato plant.

    Cannabis, how is it legalized?

I don't smoke, but have often thought of growing a plant or too, just because. Do any growers know if a pot plant can just be a house plant and just grow, or are they kind of an annual sort of plant that grows and dies at the end of the season? I just think they're a cool looking plant.

Issue finding tubes for my 26 Ancheer bike

I buy mine from the local Ace hadware, and they are pre loaded with slime. No more flat tires, it must work to seal most holes i was getting from thorns and stickers.

This country is paying car drivers nearly $4,000 to switch to an electric bike

Remember the GOP's opposition to Medicare and Social Security when it was proposed and passed. Just try and pry it out of the older folks hands now. It was socialism, the end of the American way of life. Health care and some financial security in your old age, so evil. My Canadian friends...

    It Works!!!!!

All you can do is hope the thieves are too lazy, and move on to an easier "mark", or maybe at least slow them down. I seldom leave my bike unattended. It's the world we live in. Way back in the late 1960's, some prick stole my 3 speed Schwinn Stingray. I was probably 10 years old. I've never...

    Selling stuff and shipping.

For me, PayPal, goods and services only, and if it's worthwhile to the buyer, they pay all shipping and boxing fees. If that makes the good deal, not so good, then sell on your local CL as pick up only. I use CL to buy and sell motorcycles, I advertise that I won't ship and use the CL email...

    Electric Car thread

This is really a bone head move if the goal of the bill is to increase EVs on US roads. It shouldn't matter where a car is manufactured or assembled in a global economy. Probably inserted by some lobbyist lawyers for some special interests. It's good that it has a reasonable (10 year) life...

I guess that was my point, who pays to read news. If you want to read about a current event or a news story, a quick search will yield lots of results, without cost. That's just how I roll.

What was the gist of the story? Pay wall stopped me from reading anything. Who pays to read news on the Internet anyway?

So what's your other hobbies or interests?

Yeah, Manny will go down as one of the greats for sure, that's why Floyd "Money" Mayweather avoided him as long as he could, hoping he'd lose a half step before the met inside the squared circle. It worked out for Floyd. Sugar Ray Leonard is a great fighter also, showed a lot of heart as a...

Do you carry your e-bikes in the trunk of your truck? (Pictures if possible)

I tie them in upright, inside the bed, just like a motorcycle, using tie down straps.

So what's your other hobbies or interests?

No, no Ali. Although he was a talented fighter for his time and was a gritty as fighters can be, and a great self promoter, I think he was a bit overrated. Almost the image of Ali is greater than he was as a fighter, and the years taken away from his career with his legal battles would...

    Electric Car thread

A bit off topic, but as a lifelong M/C guy, this is interesting to me. A bit more adrenaline than my e bike, but not at a stupid 20k plus price tag. I'll be watching if it really happens and how it plays out...

So what's your other hobbies or interests?

My favorite boxer list, hard to choose, I've been a fan of boxing forever I guess, but the fighters that come to mind for me in no particular order are: 1) Roberto Duran 2) Marvin Hagler 3) Tommy Hearns wicked puncher, one of those skinny guys that had that weird leverage that gave him crazy...

    Sondors has dropped the ball

So did you try to speak with anyone when you arrived? Was the store empty, no people? Maybe I missed something, but i re-read the post and am curious to what happened after you took the pics. Yes, I used to go to Commerce and Lynnwood to do with work years back, had to careful even 30 years ago.
