Powerful Fat Tire E-bike w/ Torque sensor from Juiced Bikes

Are these available "Direct-to-Consumer" in Canada also? I have been looking at Juicedbikes, but I think I need to buy through dealers in Canada. As a result, the final price is much higher than expected.

    New Voltbike Yukon 750 spotted

Oh, sorry, I didn't know they were yours, LOL. I thought the slap guard was from Voltbike. They did mention that they would include slap guards in future batches, but I guess they haven't yet. You are smart to have something install until you find something nicer. The chain does bounce...

    New Voltbike Yukon 750 spotted

Thanks for the pictures. First time I've seen the Yukon 750 with the new upgrades. - The box is in really good condition. I think one of the reason is that it ships direct via train (in Canada at least). It doesn't get passed around from trucks to trucks during transit. - Looks like Voltbike...

    A Nice Fatty under $2000?

Personally, I like powerful Hub Motors. It is more stealthy. It nicely hides behind the rear cassette and brake rotor. It is mechanically simple. It is basically just an electromagnetic coil with 3 planetary gears. Not much to go wrong, and parts can be easily replaced. And the torque...

    Brake lever.

If you squeeze the lever, you can see inside that there is a micro-switch protected with a rubber cover. In the winter, the rubber gets hard and the grease/lube inside the switch gets sticky. That may be the reason. You'll notice the switch works backwards. When it is depressed (i.e...

    A Nice Fatty under $2000?

Don't forget to price in shipping costs. I like my Voltbike Yukon 750. All Voltbikes ship pretty low: US$69 commercial U.S. address US$99 residential U.S. address CAD$49 anywhere in Canada Voltbike has warehouses in both U.S. and in Canada, so custom and duty is not a problem. Their Yukon...

Here is what I've been able to gather from various sources for my Voltbike Yukon 750 (maybe same for the Voltbike Mariner?). Hopefully someone will be able to add to it: S7 - (km/mile) bL1 - backlight brightness display (3) OFf - auto time(min) display off (5) W d - wheel diameter (26) bU0...

    RadRover pedal assist levels

A side benefit of having another (same) bike for a family member is that you can borrow their battery when they are not riding so that you have the option to double your range for a really long ride.

What is that black rectangular thing in your rear spokes? Is that a phone holder on your handlebar? It looks big, but maybe it is because of the perspective. What kind of phone holder are you using?

Voltbike Mid-drive Mountain Bike 26"x2.15" tires

@Voltbike Any news you can share with us? I suspect it will be the new Bafang 350W mid-drive motor which Court has reviewed on another bike here: https://electricbikereview.com/volton/alation-mid-drive-48v/ In that review, Court seems to like the Bafang mid-drive a lot in terms of performance...

bodyfloat or other suspension seat post for radmini or rover

You can also buy custom springs for the SunTour NCX for around $15 US depending on your weight or how soft you like your ride. This is a nice option to have. I changed my NCX spring for one rated for under 65 KG because I like a softer ride and I am not heavy.

    New Voltbike Yukon 750 spotted

@Josh88 Please refer to post #39 (page 2) of this thread for a picture of the derailleur guard. I bought the style with 2-screws. I bought it at a local CanadianTire store. Very easy to replace and cost $6.00: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/search-results.html?q=ccm%20derailleur For the...

    New Voltbike Yukon 750 spotted

Can you explain this a little bit? How did you get "480W"? Did you multiply 48V x 10A current? You said it can be pushed to 16A... does that mean the motor peaks at 48Vx16A=768W? A freshly charged battery is around 54.6V, right? So 54.6Vx16A=874W peak? Most importantly, how did you push it...

@ace20ri Thanks so much! That is really amazing information and very useful pictures. Love to hear as you discover more about your bike. Thanks for sharing! BTW, everybody, I would really recommend installing the "Derailleur Guard" for a few dollars. I had a fall recently (no damage to the...
