    Say Hello To Storm

Considering we're talking about eBikes here, and looking at the previous history of eBikes being sold in this way, and the general slow sales of them, I think it's a pretty safe assumption that no one in their wildest imagination could have possibly expected this to happen When I got in they...

I think it's just that the times are changing. I like the convenience a brick and mortar shop, but it just seems like they're operating like it's still the 50s. They're operate on a low volume, high profit model, but now they're forced to compete with high volume, low profit ecommerce business...

I sort of doubt they've actually changed anything except the description. It seems like their descriptions weren't very accurate. The only thing they've done, as far as I can tell is more accurately describe what we've been looking at all along. Someone on es fingered the hub motor as geared...

I hope it has the same motor as comes on my sons Neo Carbon. Looks a lot like it what little I can see. It's 350w 36v too. His bike seems to have really decent power, and is very quiet. The battery is about that size too. I'm pretty sure that's what you get with 10s 4p 18650 18650 come in...

I've been studying the componentry on this bike and man, it's really pretty impressive if true. This bike probably has better accessory's than your bike in a lot of cases. It's far from the cheapest stuff. It's too late for me to get into it now, but I'll tell you about it tomorrow for sure.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that when they were thinking 150 bikes, May Shipment was somewhat realistic. Who the heck knew it was going to go viral? I'm pretty sure it took them by surprise. I bought before it was at the $75,000 goal. I was thinking it would be a gamble they might not...

That's one of the first prototypes. It's in the first video they put showing them riding without pedals.

When I think about, I bought my first full size motorcycle, a 1974 Norton Commando 850 from a cycle shop called Storm's Cycle.

LOL, that's probably why we put motors on our bikes.

    Say Hello To Storm

I think you make a good point. Up till now the eBike market has been almost totally derelict of aftermarket performance businesses offering hop up parts for existing models. This kind of so called entry level bike selling by the thousands could very well invent such a market. We're not talking...

I think we're findly starting to have an impact on these shysters sales. They've only taken in $50,000 in the last hour.

Over night from the time I went to bed, to when I got up they took in another $32,000. Now they're at $2,341,576 Anyone want to make any bets whether they'll reach 3 million today?

Where I think Ralph is really nailing it is when says the looks are Kick ass. I totally agree. If I ride this bike down the Katy trail, I know it will be a show stopper. Much the same as my Bomber, but without the mortgage. Normal pedestrian looking eBikes just don't get much attention there...

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is, it appears the control lever housings might have power cutoffs when you pull the brakes. This would be a good if I can ever get my wife to ride the thing. Every time she's ever tried to ride a powered bike of any kind, she's promptly, and immediately...

Gus, how did you find this out. No one seems to be able to find out anything about this bike. Automatic seat warmer, at no extra charge LOL.

Simply amazing, they've now sailed past 1.2 mil in start up money. On the third day! I still contend the real story here is what this says about the potential eBike market in America, which before this most people thought was practically nonexistent. We're still only talking about 2100 funders...

    Say Hello To Storm

At this point the claims are really beside the point. the real story here is the overwhelming response. No one is claiming this bike is more than a entry level bike, and yet look at the response. They're taking in thousands of dollars a minute. No one expected this to happen, I doubt even the...
