    ST3 connectivity

It has, for sure, but remember what I wrote about bike mechanic skills ant the rear end of the bike! This is the most common reason for poor support if the re-calibration fails.

    Torque sensor question

This would create a cyclic loop; speed is a result of the TMM4 measuring. The "hidden secret" of the Stromer riding feeling is the perfect integration of the sensitive TMM 4 signal into the motor power curve.

    ST3 connectivity

    a) Do the opposite. Inside a house, cell phone connections are weak due to the walls. b) set "all in" on the display. (= max torque sensor and max brake power) The app allows you to set weaker settings, e.g for riding in a pedestrian zone.

    New Stromer ST5 LTD

That's my Stromer. Saddle above the handlebar and a FOX 100/32 RL at the front. This was the best I could obtain 10 years ago. I can easily observe on the rings on the golden part how much fork travel I need during an ordinary ride. The FOX has a fast response eavan at 45 km/h. But on a...

    ST3 connectivity

The BT is independent from the OMNI app. You have a valid PIN for the ST3 display (and the first time password for the app)? Your phone should have a nice nickname, this helps to identify your phone in the list of all BT devices which your ST3 founds. The limpness of the ST3 is caused by...

    Stromer st1 v1 sport

These batteries are called BOxxx where xxx is the capacity and BO is body shape octagon. Both types you mentioned are no longer on sale since years. The blue BO630 is the last one and I have this on my 2009 Stromer. So I expect, the weaker ones you mentioned will also fit.

Stromer motor water ingress then freezing problem

I can't follow this statement. I'm looking intensive on the pictures of a Stromer after a heavy snow, salt and sludge ride published above. The motor is the sole parte with almost no snow.... Furthermore, I can't solve the equation: How many milliliters of water might be needed to get the...

    New Stromer ST5 LTD

Not only this, the 30mm maximum travel are also an big safety gain in comparison with the competitors long travel forks. Riding a 45 km/h commuter bike in a sporty way is no longer a risk in case of an emergency brake.

Stromer motor water ingress then freezing problem

See below how my Stromer looks like after a typical winter ride. No more gear shifting, all frozen. Use either a heating device or some winter car window cleaner liquid. But never ever water goes into the motor hull. If this happens, it's all over.

    Stx1 (2017)

Disconnect the brake sensor cable first, then try again. Then disconnect the display, remove it from the handlebar (carefully!) and remove the small battery, the reconnect (to the Stromer controller only) and try again.

ST5 vs Riese & Muller mid drive for hills

I agree, you can call a plane to be a boat, a car to be a submarine or a bicycle to be a rocket. That's all covered by your freedom of speech. On the other end, which vehicle fits best for what transportation demand, is defined by the physics. To make communication easier, I prefer the most...

    Stx1 (2017)

With such messages, you have the classic Stromer ST1 (there is also the ST1x, which is very different, as wll as the new ST1). Unfortunately, no real solution can be given. These errors are erratic, but luckily not serious (mostly). Often, a restart is sufficient, sometimes the temporarily...

    New Stromer ST5 LTD

Only true, if you compare with ebikes that are street legal by Swiss and European law. A noticeable "extra speed" cannot be realized on a Stromer or on a competitor. It's because of the physics of the motors. They are optimized for 45 km/h in the efficiency drops sharp above this speed. With...

ST5 vs Riese & Muller mid drive for hills

No doubt, the ST5 would be a great "Sports Car". But in front of a steep hill and a bad path, would you not better choose the Lightrider, because a "Tractor" would fit better?

    New Stromer ST5 LTD

~45A continuous - this is a word! Saying the Stromer battery has nominal 48V, this will be 2160W. Unfortunately, the battery will be empty within a few minutes. But even if you reduce the power to 800W, it will not work. Because your controller does not communicate with appropriate CAN bus...

    New Stromer ST5 LTD

As mentioned above (3) is already to strong for only keeping 45km/h. But in a situation as shown in the video, the extra power of (S) would be useful. Or simple if the road goes somewhat uphill or the wind comes from the opposite direction. There is the nominal power (eg. 850W), the average...

    New Stromer ST5 LTD

OK If you have this information in your app, it must be true ;-) So please report about your test ride! Until then, I would suggest you calculate the remaining torque at the rear wheel with all three otprions: 48T : 11T (factory configuration) 50T : 11T 52T : 11T
