Just have to ask...did you pull the wiring harness and check each one of the plugs? The intermittent function could be a loose, damaged, shorted wiring harness and or plug??

Jack try out Map My Ride app. Several of us on EBR team use this app for national bike challenge. If you friend us the group gets notifications when you ride. It is motivational to get these dings from the team members. The app will also sync with NBC and upload your miles for you.

Which code is sensitivity? What is your cadence on flat ground? Do you try to maintain the same when climbing or accelerating?

Go ride them one after the other...the bikes will speak for themselves. The test rides will allow you to compare and zero in on what you like. I agree with @JackStraw it will be worth the drive.
