Are there NFC ebike displays available?

Wanting extra protection against theft for my KBO Breeze ST besides a lock. Seeing newer ebikes requiring NFC card to turn on. Was wondering if anyone knew of a after market one that was plug and play that could work for the KBO Breeze ST? Thanks in advance.

Received my KBO Breeze ST yesterday

Nice upgrades It has been a good bike for me so far. I did replace the stock hand grips, handle bars with adjustable stem, and added a suspension seat post. Then replaced the twist throttle with a thumb throttle which was more comfortable for me. Unlocking the speed limit was also a nice perk...

    KBO bikes

Ditto 123456jeff, I received my KBO Breeze ST in October 2022 which had shipping damage. They required me to ship and expedite my damaged battery from Texas to a repair shop in California to be look at, and they would reimburse me up to $50.00 for shipping. That price didn't come close to...

I'm averaging one jerk per week

I've been dealing with the same dilemma here in Houston. Less than 1/2 Mile to get to the Greenway bike Paths from my home. No sidewalks on the streets or enough room to allow for traffic to get there. Around me they have ghost bike memorials in various areas of the city where bicyclists have...

Hello from Texas! New member and Ebike Owner!

Rear wheel seems to have to much resistance and comes to abrupt stop for my comfort. Which could be a separate issue so double check brakes aren't dragging. Possibly freewheel bearings are shot and I would remove rear tire to start the process of elimination.

    Need thoughts, My KBO Issues

Thanks ElevenAD I offered to buy a new battery and asked , when I receive the new battery and send the damaged battery back to them. If it showed shipping damage like it does in the photos I sent , would they reimburse me for the new battery? They declined. So I will move forward.

    Need thoughts, My KBO Issues

Thanks ruffruff, And agree these batteries can be dangerous which why I have concerns. After reviewing BBB complaints on KBO they appear to have a habit of stalling on parts and refunds.

    Need thoughts, My KBO Issues

Thank you AHicks for the response, The idea to purchase a new battery and send back the damaged battery for a refund sounds like a good idea and will ask them. When I sent the pics of the damage to the bike and battery , they offered $50.00 in coupons for the troubles but respectfully declined...

    Need thoughts, My KBO Issues

Received my wifes KBO Breeze ST. It had suffered box and bike damage during shipping. I was able to repair a few things but noticed when I opened the box the battery in the cradle in the bike was kind of hard to remove. Once I removed the battery I noticed the button you push that indicates the...

Box and bike received shipping damage which I expected. Bent fenders, scratched and chipped paint which was minimal. Pedal bearings over tightened wouldn't spin which I corrected and had to trash the covers in process. Things came loose in the box. Watched FedEx unload upside down which is...

    Motor noise and starting delay.

I had the Ride1Up 500 ST purchased in 2021 with the same issue along with others. CS basically said the same thing to me. I've had many ebikes, but this was the loudest ebike ever. People up the street could here me coming. After many emails and videos sent to Ride1Up CS, they basically said...

MFG date on ebikes and battery

Thanks Stefan Mikes for the response. I wanted to make sure that the battery pack I receive will be fresh and state of art at time of purchase and get the longest performance. I'm not sure what the environment is or how the battery packs are stored before receiving if they are 1 or 2 years old...

MFG date on ebikes and battery

I am considering purchasing a new ebike Sept 2022. If the ebike is mfg in 2022, but the battery is mfg in 2020 or 2021. Is that acceptable? Thanks for the help.
