My short daughter loves her Pedego 24” Interceptor. It reminds her of the beaches she loves. Clearly not the style that you’re looking for, but a truly upright sitting position. No strain on the back at all. Pedego also has a new model called the element that is sporty and much cheaper.

It's hard for people who have never ridden ebikes to understand this point. When you have endless momentum available, weight really does not matter.

I tend to be a squeaky wheel. I locked my bike to the sign in front of my church for a while. People complained. And then the facilities committee ordered and installed a bike rack! :) When there isn't a reasonable place to lock my bike, bringing it into the store draws attention to the problem...

I do this when there’s not a rack, and use my side baskets as a shopping cart. I haven’t been booted out of a store yet!!

My local Pedego dealer is now carrying these. I haven’t gotten them (they are pretty spendy). What I did do was get the most flat resistant tire I could find when I needed new tires, Schwalbe’s super moto X. Great tires. No more flats. :) I don't know if they make them in sizes for fat tire...

Sorry to hear that.... there are makers with tech support... their bikes cost more... my bike has dealer support and that and the tech desk guys have been super helpful.
