The specs sure look better on the Aventon. What’s the weight rating of it. The Trek is rated at 300 pounds, including the bike, you’d be about 25 pounds over on that. To me the aTrek looks like it’s meant to be a bare bones bike.

I’m also glad to see your riding. When I ride into the wind I often don’t hear vehicles approaching. You just have to keep an eye on the mirror. On a side note I have a co worker whose son had a similar thing happen but only in one ear. Rather sudden hearing loss an no explanation. Good luck!

I’ve been riding with my wife the last couple of weeks, 10 to 16 miles at a time. I need to find something to take a picture of there just isn’t much to see lately. The weather has been unusually warm for late winter a hit 75 f today.

I’ve been away for a while, mainly because winter was here. We had quite a bit of snow and icy roads buts it’s mostly gone now. 58 degrees here today so I rode an easy 10 miles.

I have no idea.

I’ve done a lot of work on cars over the years so I have a lot of tools but I did get a bike stand for Christmas a couple of years ago.

I did 14 miles yesterday. I haven’t been riding as much, I’ve been “working” for exercise by splitting some of my firewood.

People often think the pedals are connected to a generator and you are making electricity. I haven’t come up with a clever reply yet but I’m working on it.

I’ve lost some weight, not really from biking but not buying chips or anything sweet. I’m hungry all the time but when I was eating too much I was hungry all the time too.

I’ve been known to take logs and make them into little pieces for the fire place but I haven’t figured out how to involve my bike in the process.
