    Zen Photon Pro- Preorder | 1040Wh UL Certified battery | 500W nominal/900W peak power Torque-sensing motor w/ Throttle | USD 2999 | CAD 3999

Yes, the battery length makes them difficult to fit in a pannier, which is how I presently carry mine.

Need help identifying a controller built in to battery tray.

I'm not sure if this product from Grin Tech would work, but here's the link: https://ebikes.ca/product-info/grin-products/baserunner.html

    Lithium-Ion Batteries and others

As you say, lithium batteries are everywhere but before you panic, be aware that statistics are in your favor. When you consider the number of batteries compared to reported incidents, the number is miniscule. I like to think of it as the total number of cigarettes compared to the number of...

    JACKS FOR EBIKE?

It should work if you make a bracket that sits on the jack table and contacts lift points on the bike frame without touching the chain. The table may be too wide to allow the crank to spin freely though. I'm not aware of a bike stand that will attach to the Eahora, which has neither a seatpost...

    5v voltage drop typical?

This may or may not be normal. A lot depends on where the voltage is being measured. Most bike makers try to save money by using wire that is the bare minimum gauge. This can cause a voltage drop and will vary for different bikes. A 5 volt drop measured at the motor might be normal whereas a...

I never agreed with Peta until today.

I had UHC for 6 years after I retired. my only complaint was, most of my doctors didn't belong to the plan I had and I paid higher out of pocket expenses. My company dropped their HMO retirement plan 5 years ago after numerous complaints. Most involved referrals for the cheapest treatments...

    Electric Air Pumps 2024

I don't carry my Fumpa self contained battery pump either when I ride. I keep it in my vehicle to top off tires before or after a ride. Like you, I also carry a mini hand pump and co2 inflator on the bike. It's hard to damage either from bouncing around in a bike bag. I like to put my $$...

    Shock Stop Seatpost Finally Here

Keep in mind the "best" suspension seatpost is the one that is most comfortable for you. Also, a seatpost is only as good as the saddle you put on it. One size does not fit all.

    Welcome to Disability and Ebiking

Similar situation here. All of what you propose to do will certainly help. You might also consider a suspension stem for your handlebars. It helped me, even though I have front suspension. https://redshiftsports.com/products/shockstop-suspension-stem?variant=44076023185661 I had the best...

    Any RC fans here?

Perhaps in Canada, but here in the US, <250gr UAV's don't have to be registered with the FAA but are still regulated. https://fpvfc.org/sub-250g-regulations#:~:text=It%20is%20true%20that%20recreational,pounds%2C%20with%20no%20lower%20bound.

    Any RC fans here?

Yeah, RC flying is a great hobby as long as you don't run afoul of some FAA regulation. If caught violating one, the fines can be steep. I live so close to an airport, I feel like I have to file a flight plan when jumping off my deck into the pool.

The ebike gods have smiled on me — the water heater gods, yes and no.

I doubt I'll ever break even with my heat pump hot water heater. It cost 3 times that of a conventional model and has just a 10 year warranty. It does use less than a third the power though. I bought it 2 years ago when our electric rates spiked, thinking there would be a savings. The rates...
