The B+M horn was OEM only to start off and comes without instructions, DIY. So maybe they didn't wire it properly sealed.

Take care not to get any water into the horn or that the wires are sealed. Riding in the rain several German users reported the 2020 MY B+M horn wouldn't stop anymore and they had to cut the wires to prevent going deaf. FWIW taking a knife along might be helpful. ;)

Your brake pad should be changed if it reaches 2.5mm including the backing metal. In case you're intending to change your brake pads in due time ;) next time, here's the TRP guideline (for bedding in as well):

There might be a range of brake pads to choose from other than the pads that came with the bike. Knowing the brake caliper and rotor helps. But as you assume: you have brains enough, don't need my thoughts. Ride on.

It is advisable to first look at the rotor and brake caliper model and then check which brake pads are suitable. You might be surprised. Because you get various combinations even with the same bike model and model year, which could lead to: doesn't fit.

👍 Now that you know the correct torque for those bolts you could mount your red chainring and get out for some comparison runs to proof that it is in fact the fasterestest. 😎 Better than just looking at it hung up on the wall thinking: oh boy, how fast could I be if I only had .... 😁

Could be. I just stumbled over a report of a German Vado 4.0 rider who has installed a Deckas 52T chain ring successfully some months ago. But I don't know his frame size. On my XL-frame it could match but close.

OK. Remember my hint then: secure the bolts with zip-belts in the beginning. As you already know: those Specialized bolts might be difficult to reorder 'cause they are Specialized. I broke a seatpost clamp bolt right at the beginning because I torqued it too much. My LBS didn't have a spare...

😖 Too bad. Good to know 9.8 Nm was too much. So you used less Nm on the Specialized bolts afterwards?

No. Unnecessary. Not if you take the spider off for replacing the chainring with the Deckas. Easy job which can be done within minutes but requires the spider tools. Threadlocker/Loctite and correct torque using a wrench should be used for Specialized chainringbolts too as Specialized...
