    Misalignment of chain with chainring

I doubt that. Please have another look. ;) This shows a wave chainring: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/rode-the-specialized-turbo-creo-sl-comp.38911/post-360901

    Misalignment of chain with chainring

Which system uses the Creo? Vado and Como might use narrow-wide chainring, or wave. The outer link belongs to the outer tooth with the narrow-wide chainring. And you're showing the wave system which is a different system. Link for wave...

    Misalignment of chain with chainring

Look for the drawing on the inner side of your chain ring and check (link refers to Vado or Como narrow-wide chainring): https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/specialized-turbo-vado-como-user-club.31893/post-279761 How many miles? Your two smallest cogs might be worn if used too often.

Which chain is on the Vado 5.0?

Had severe knee trouble but couldn't ride anyway due to being dug in overtime work. Now I've got more excuses for not riding: 20-30cm snow tonight combined with black ice on the roads. ;)

Which chain is on the Vado 5.0?

Here is another store that has it in stock: https://webshop.bestbike.de/de/specialized-chr-praxis-my17-vado-48t-chainring104w.html or from Austria: https://www.radladen.shop/bike-equipment-und-zubehoer/sonstiges-zubehoer/3212/chr-praxis-my17-vado-48t-chainring-104-wave

Which chain is on the Vado 5.0?

You're counting complete chain links, not the rivets. As the master link is an outer link, you need your new chain to end with an inner link at both ends. So you could fix your master link in to join the ends. So cutting your new chain to the desired length you should drive out a chain rivet in...

Turbo Vado 4 thru-axle torque discrepancy

Common problem with the Specialized axle. Look for a better quality axle at robertaxleproject.com. https://robertaxleproject.com/what-axle-do-i-need/#1482625165381-65f8b810-91c8

Swap Como 4.0 48T chainring with Vado 4.0 40T chainring

As others have proven: close but yes. YRMV. I havn't seen any Deckas chainring in blue colour yet.

Swap Como 4.0 48T chainring with Vado 4.0 40T chainring

Yes. But is that really the complete colour scheme? What about combining blue pedals, orange shoes and pink laces (wasn't it called Galician look or similar)? 🤣 BTW: I think you could reverse the Deckas chainring if you don't like the pattern. Garbaruk doesn't offer the blue chainring in 52T...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Some more pictures illustrate the difference between Deckas chainrings and Specialized (Praxis) chainrings. I have marked the narrow tooth in a red and the wide tooth in a yellow frame. It is noticeable that the Deckas chainring has the clearly better narrow-wide structure of the chainring...

Swap Como 4.0 48T chainring with Vado 4.0 40T chainring

So you might have created a new fashion trend 🤔🤫

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

@Stefan Mikes no, it's exacly the opposite: wide tooth in wide chain-link. It doesn't make any sense to set that in the narrow link as that would destroy the chain over time. @Brendon@TBSM 's picture shows the right way of mounting. So here we have the wording confusion again, I thought it was...

    Como 2.0 chain slap/derailleur tension

Can you provide a picture of the chain from the side? Do you know brand and model of the new chain (is it Shimano xxx or KMC or ?)

Swap Como 4.0 48T chainring with Vado 4.0 40T chainring

That applies for the silver ones only. The chainringbolts in your fasterest red are made of aluminium.

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Long distance glider pilots - sometimes 8-10 hours in the air - use plastic bags attached to their lower leg and addressed through a hose system. Might be better in winter as it keeps your leg warmer for a while. ;)

    Specialized’s ultra-light 120-mile range e-bike - Turbo Vado SL

Thx. Well, partly German. My dad was born in Latvia (but being baltic german). His family was 'distributed' over the world after WWII. If it hadn't been for my later mum, I could be partly British, Canadian, US-American or Australian.

    Como Handlebars on Vado 5.0

So your bike seems to be as bulletproof as you are. I even try to avoid deep waterholes when beachsailing. ;) Others didn't:
