I have a charger that does 2-4-6-8-10 amp charging along with 80-90-100 % and I have a charger that does 4 amp only 100%. The one I use the most by far is the quiet one , the 4 amp. I would do some 90% 2 amp as my normal if it was quiet. I have 2 of each chargers for currently 5 batteries...

I have a long term loaner from WW with a chain. It skips a little also.so does my Trek Allant. I am not getting lucky with mid drives in general the Allant broke the chain 4 miles after getting it back from repairing the skipping 2 days ago so I don’t know if it was really fixed. Make sure nothing is loose, press on the rim side to side, wheel bearing “slop” or not seated properly. Also the headset needs to be tight , with the brake on push the bike forward and back to feel slop in the frame and the handlebars and / or wheel.

I run 40 lbs, prob negligible difference but the rear spins better than yours apparently, I think it is worth looking at. I would check without the pads to make sure they are the only drag on the wheel…no squeezing the brakes without pads!
