    Bikeman!!! Where are you?

Yep. Where am I? I can’t get off the bike. I’ve got 500 miles on it and I’ve been doing 30 miles a day. Two days I did 50. We had massive smoke for a week so I had to cut back then. i’ve been without Internet for a week that’s why I couldn’t post back. The library is right down the street but...

Yes, you were right. I’d charge my bike up for six hours. Went out and rode it until the battery was about 10% (One time I went a little lower even, just to try and get the higher cells down lower). Went and put it on the charger for six hours again. Did this about five or six times. One time I...

I charged my battery to 90% before I went to bed last night. I was going to charge it up to 100 and go for a ride this morning. I woke up and my battery was at 80%. I grabbed my helmet and my mask and went back over to the bike and it was 78% and dropping. I rode to the next stoplight and a...

The radbike is accurate. A 48v battery actually charges higher than that. I think 52 V. So for him to go down from 52 to 48 it was still 100%. I’m getting about 15 miles per 100% charge. I set everything to default and try that out and I got about 12 miles with a 100% charge. With the Settings...

I missed a few days of checking this and I didn’t see your percentages. Most people don’t have them consistent. I don’t understand why? I have mine 0 to 5 like this, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 96%. this way each pedal assist is consistently all the way up. Am I missing something? Why almost everybody...

This is what I found out. I switch the number from one back up to three. I went riding 4 or 5 times over a couple days and my current limit number stayed at 11. I thought I fixed it but after a couple days of riding I noticed it changed to six again. Another thing that really baffles my...

I was thinking of this problem not from my perspective, but from ride1ups. As pointed out, when i first got the bike, I was so happy with it. EVERYTHINGI was awesome!! This was the coolest bike ever!! I watched the video and switched my slow start settings. From that switch, I went down a...

If I get the improvement from 2 to 3 that I did from 1 to 2 I think that might be it for the erratic. Wonder why Kevin had his on one or zero? I still can’t believe that my current limit setting is supposed to change like that. I don’t like it. If you go in like I did tonight after my ride and...

Mike, showing me that charger where you can see volts made me think. When I do electric RC stuff, my super deluxe charger shows everything. When a charger charges it balances at the end. It could be that what’s happening is my charger is charging, but at the end it’s not balancing the cells, or...

I was wondering if it was charging full also. When you push the button on the battery it shows all the lights lighting up. My display says it’s 100 but I was wondering. The display is influenced by settings so it’s not reliable. I don’t think a low battery would make that setting keep changing...

Just got another email from ride one up. They said it’s OK to run the bike at 18 A. Problem is it’s going up all the way high (22A?) A it’s all over the place.

My main concern is why my advanced settings, current limit keeps changing. You may be onto something because my default was 4 and they recommended one so I put it at one. I’ll try to change that back. Again, my main concern is why my number changes each time I check it. That’s the problem. I...

I see they seem to get better responses but I’m not on Facebook. I just got another support answer and he said just change everything to default and leave it. Problem is, when I set mine to default, it defaults to 18 A. The one thing I hate in my life is when you ask somebody a question, they...

I’ve been thinking about that. I wanted one up to tell me to do that before I did it on my own. Support is usually two full days, so I won’t get that answer till next Wednesday. I’m afraid to ask. I’m afraid they’ll tell me to put air in my tires. I am thinking about sending the bike back but...

This is unbelievable. The support I’m getting is horrible. I can see and feel when I ride my current setting is floating all over the place. Sometimes when I ride with throttle it goes to 20mph. Other times I can feel it pulling very strong to 24 before I shut down. Ridding on flat, peddling...

I found the problem! First, I love R1u up, I had such high expectations and the bike is so good it just takes a while to get things worked out. last night I set the amps to 11 to try it out this morning. I started out in past one the bike was going 17 mph. I clicked it up to level two and went...

Mine came default 27.5. Interesting, R1u now lists 500 W motor and no peek. The 500W rating is that you can ride at 500W continuously without having the motor overheat. To go up a little higher temporarily (peak) doesn’t hurt it. It’s when you keep it high over a period of time that hurts it...

    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

Got my Derailleur yesterday. Man those springs are nice! What did you do about the stock 700 is a side pull this is a straight pull? I think I’ll use the stock one until something happens.
