They do not list the motor on their website And it is not the DAS-Kit display. I looked at the motor when I test rode it but no identifier on it. I had my heart set on this bike. The Magnum Premium did not fit as well for me.

Sadly, the Pathfinder 500 has way toooo much front end power. I test drove my second Pathfinder and was in the 7th gear and level 1 the whole time. You really can’t peddle at an even pace. I hope in the future Magnum takes the time to upgrade the controller and display to one like the other...

Marci Jo - I was able to test ride the Pathfinder 500 and the Premium folder. With their batteries out, I lifted each bike. The Pathfinder is noticeably lighter than the Premium.

On the fence about getting a HSD S11. I test drove a P9 Performance yesterday and was blown away with the Bosch motor. I did not find the front suspension fork helpful at all. Maybe it was locked out? How have others found the fork? If I get a HSD it will be the S11.

I am thinking seriously about buying the Cube Compact Hybrid to carry inside my camper van. I had looked at the Tern HSD but I really don’t need the cargo carrying capacity. It really bothers me that there is not a front suspension fork. Have you missed not having the front suspension?

I bought my Stromer Elite 2 years ago. It reaches 24 to 25 mph. You may prefer to hear from others who have bought more recently.

I believe Motostrano in San Francisco sells a "dongle" that will eliminate the 20 mph limit to the Haibike.

I forgot to mention that I bought a dongle right after I bought my Haibike but never installed it. I use my bike on trails and 20+ is enough for me. I can't find the one I bought but it was the badassbikes one that doesn't require messing with the motor.

Motostrano, an ebike shop in San Francisco, does sell a dongle for the Bosch system. It might be worth a phone call to them to discuss your questions and concerns. Just remember, the dongle does not increase the "power" of the Bosch system, just allows you to go past 20 mph. When I read...
