Interestingly, that is how I do bleeds. I raise the lighter front wheel and place it on a Home Depot bucket turned upside down to give me the height differential I need for the bleed :)

I am going to look into this further. 4ft sounds right, but at the same time I don't do extensive repairs...so don't anticipate needing to flip the bike upside down. I do need the tilt function for when I am doing bleeds....if 3ft gets me that, that should be enough. My stromer ST1 ways around...

Didn't quite understand the first line of your message :) Wall mount model is the PRS-4W-2. The bench mount model (the one I have ) is PCS 12-2.

Just got the chance to remove the tube and the tire and without a shadow of doubt discovered the problem. A pretty big screw lodged deep into my tires. It obviously breached the tire itself causing the puncture on the tube, but looks like it also caused damaged to my rims. I will be replacing...

I just ordered 2 of the Slime extra thick tubes.....I am going to install those when they come and see how far it gets me.

btw...can slime loaded tubes be patched the conventional way (vulcanizing patch)? I tried it and with the slime still leaking out, the patch simply would not stick.......I am guessing the slime prevents the adhesion from happening.

I did a quick check and I could not spot anything obvious, but will take a closer look today.

Attached are some pictures. The pic where the green slime is leaking out is a fairly big gash and then there is a series of smaller punctures in the immediate vicinity (but on the other side of the tube). Not sure if it started off with the big gash and then as I kept riding, the others...

The front tire is the stock Stromer ST1 tire (Schwalbe Big Ben) and the rear tire is Serfas Drifter.
