    Full Suspension vs. Fat Tire

I have a bike with 3" tires and find that too clumsy off-road. Good point about tires, no tire will do everything or even a few things. I see it all time at our bike parks, families and individuals pushing their 70+ pound fat tire bikes around frustrated and wondering why they can't go...

    Full Suspension vs. Fat Tire

Nomad, I guess you have more experience than I do, I've only been riding for over 70 years and mountain biking for 40 years and have eight eBikes. Oh ya, I'm senile.

    Full Suspension vs. Fat Tire

Scramjet, that's exactly what I'm saying, I have both mountain bikes and fat tired bikes and they are two different beasts. I used to compete in mountain biking and I still mountain bike, I have never seen a serious mountain biker on a fat tired bike. I use my fat tired bikes, a Radrover and...

    Full Suspension vs. Fat Tire

Biktrix Juggernaut FS is a wonderful fat tire bike but with 4" tires and 70+ pounds it's not a mountain bike by any means. Lots of fat tired FS bikes if you look.

    Full Suspension vs. Fat Tire

Fat tires don't work too well for mountain biking.

Hello from BC - Riding 10,000km a year on Bosch e-bike - Looking for a more durable system (if any?)

The Shimano E8000 is a new design where as the BionX is an old design, that's an unfair comparison. I had a BionX DD and it was great, back in the day they were the motor to get. There are millions of Bafang rear hub drives running around the world now that seem pretty reliable. Not taking...

Looking for first ebike (tons of range, throttle, thick tire, no more than 1500 CAD)

Well, there goes my theory, prices are really dropping, that's a nice looking ride. That's under $1000 US.

Looking for first ebike (tons of range, throttle, thick tire, no more than 1500 CAD)

Things must have changed, when I first got into eBikes I struggled to find a bike in Canada under $2,000. I found one, I bought one, I got what I paid for and that Voltbike Yukon is thankfully long gone. Any $1500 CAN bike is going to be junk, that's close to $1,000 US. This whole thread is...

    Lots of Misinformation Being Used

That's strange, the magazine article posted by Ravi say they found a lot of power off pedalling resistance with the Shimano and Yamaha motors, I have both and find no resistance, at least none I can notice. I also have a Brose and find no resistance. My Bafang BBSHD and ultra have noticeable...
