Has anyone refused a FedX bike?

That looks like the proper way to file a claim.. At least on the FedX website.. It's up to R1U to actually do the filing. I think I'll take pics and document any damage and then turn it over to R1U. I wonder if R1U insures the shipment?

Has anyone refused a FedX bike?

How can you make FedX pay for damage? Haven't heard of anyone refusing a shipment when there's obvious damage.. Wonder what recourse we have.. It's not right to expect R1U to fix damaged shipments.

Better battery remaining accuracy on the 700

Every manufacturer is suggesting 80% charge on every LiOn application. Do you try to keep your cell phones at 80% max? It's impossible. I intend to charge my 700's battery to 100% on every cycle. Batteries are good for 500 cycles no matter what % you charge them to. I will not let the...

    Bike Torque Wrench Selection Help

Even though I did buy a torque wrench I will assemble without using it. All the necessary tools for assembly are included. The only bolt that's under question is the compression cap bolt. It only requires 5nm of torque - which is not much. If you choose the wrong scale or your torque wrench...

Head tube compression bolt--what does it connect to?

I will test that my torque wrench clicks before I crank on that particular bolt. That bolt doesn't require much torque. I'd think its best to feel that one. Too easy to snap it off

Wish someone would do an indepth review on the 700

I did buy a tensionionmeter from Aliexpress. It's en route. Also I think the meter is a good tool to get the spokes all similar.. Don't think great accuracy is important but eveness is.

That's one good looking bike. First thing I'm going to do, when mine arrives, is remove the "in spoke" reflectors. I remember some post that they interfer with "ear tuning" the spokes + I never did like the looks of them.

    Some LMT'D updates

From some of the posts I viewed on R1U's Facebook page, looks like many just want cheap and buy an assemble yourself bike with no mechanical ability. I can understand why R1U suggests a Pro to assemble. I chose R1U because cheap AND components were my guidelines. I think I remember a R1U...

    Some LMT'D updates

Ash...my buddy stopped by on his new Raleigh and that is one bike company that has gone downhill ! Betcha they sold out to a Chinese company like Schwin did. I don't have my 700 yet but when my buddy saw the picture and spec sheet, he said : "I shoulda done more research".
