Riese & Müller Charger3, Enviolo knob very stiff

Was the rear wheel removed? If so, the hub may be out of adjustment. It happened to me. NuVinci® N360® Hub Installation and Adjustment | Park Tool

    Evelo aurora or???

You didn't mention whether or not you'll be transporting the bike to different areas by car. If so, the Aurora is very heavy to lift onto a rack. Having said that, Evelo is an excellent company to deal with. The bikes are well-made and come with a 4 year warranty. I would have no problem buying...

Bike powered off while riding and wont power back on

Check the battery's connection to the controller and the contacts. Also, some batteries have a fuse, which may have blown.

    Forum Features: Your Opinion Wanted!

The suggestion was for a dark mode "option", which is now standard on other forums.

    Forum Features: Your Opinion Wanted!

How about a dark mode option to give our eyes a break?

    Forum Features: Your Opinion Wanted!

How about a specific rule prohibiting political discussions. There are plenty of other places on the web folks can go to cut each other up.

Anyone up for a ride with this guy?

I wouldn't walk that trail, much less ride a bike on it.

Anybody Hit A Deer While on Their eBike ...

I've had plenty of deer cross in front of us or stand at the roadside watching us but never hit one. Once, a chipmunk scampered across the road and ran right between my wife's tires without getting hit. We were doing about 15 mph.

    Is Tesla serious?

Autopilot on a bike? I don't think so. But then, the man has plenty of money to throw away on dream projects.

e-bike for country roads in the Hudson Valley

Sorry the map locations didn't work out. There is a very good bike shop in Connecticut. They have treated us and our friends very well over the past four years. It is not too far from you as the crow flies, but looking at the map there is no direct route from your location. If you decide to take...

Skewer thumbnut ?is it supposed to turn after tightening lever?

Tighten the thumbnut and the lever enough that you have to use some force to fully close the lever. After that the nut should not turn by hand. If it does then there is another problem.

What are your cold weather ebike limits?

Below 50° I ride in the basement watching the tube. :D

e-bike for country roads in the Hudson Valley

Looks like you have a couple more bike shops not too far away. Might be worth a look.

    How fast are people riding?

I normally ride at less than 20 mph with some downhill exceptions. The only time I ever fell was when I first got the Aurora and wasn't used to the heavy bike. Fortunately, I was standing still and tried to place my right foot on a high curb while waiting for a traffic light. The pedals were in...

New Marathon Tires and Battery For the Aurora

The Aurora is now over 5 years old and has been ridden almost 4000 miles. The original Kendas had no tread, and the battery, although still working, is getting tired. I installed a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires and can’t believe how nice they are. There is zero rolling resistance so the...

Enviolo Charger3 GT, hard to turn under load

I have the NuVinci (Enviolo) N360 on my Evelo, and yes, when pedaling hard the shifter is difficult to twist. It is not a problem on turns but when approaching a hill I ease up on the pedals briefly and shift down as necessary. If you wait too long and start the uphill climb before downshifting...

Replacing stock battery currie izip 3 path plus

That battery can be rebuilt fairly easily. The shop where we bought the bike replaced the cells under warranty. This way, we didn’t need a new lock and key. I would think it could be done for a lot less than $600.
