    Are We Condemned to Strava?

Well, I try to do a regular checks for basic things every couple of weeks (or every 10 rides) - takes only a minute or two, but allows to spot things like broken spoke or wear out brake pad and top up air in the tires. Consider this a routine service, vs. more serious one, where I change an oil...

    Are We Condemned to Strava?

Interesting. I replaced mine several times already and didn't notice clear pattern when do to this - their state depends a lot about how much I ride, where do I ride and, most important, how many rainy rides I am doing. Usually I just check them every couple of weeks and replace as necessary.

    Are We Condemned to Strava?

What about them? Just replace as necessary. They don't need much attention, comparing to chain and cassette.

Or you can just use belt and forget about all these issues

Wanted a belt drive and internal hub - Ordered a Flluid 2-s

Sad news. I was following their Valeo-based bikes, since they were supposed to be first in US with integrated hub+motor setup. Also, 2kW battery setup was unique as well. Now will have to wait what dual-batteries options will Bosch-powered bikes offer by next riding season - they definitely...

    Gazelle E-Bike Firmware Update

Ask your friend. Previous-gen Bosch motors used by C380+ doesn't have user-updateable firmware and requires Bosch-authorized dealer with special software to do that. If your friend happen to have one, he should know the changelog as well.

Reviews about Romeo Pro II 3000W Dual Motor Ebike

This monster with its weight, power and speed should also be ridden in streets only. Hope you are not thinking riding it on sidewalks and bike lines.

Charging Ebikes on EV Charging stations

If you see my vehicle was able to use it, so I presume I am in right to take it for 2 hours as instructed by the charger rules. I don't see why someone of Tesla should have priority over me to use it if I am in need to top up my battery and there are no regular power plugs around. I have a good...

Recommendations for mid-drive and belt drive

Consider Priority Current as well, especially if you can find it locally in your Costco - great ebike for reasonable price.

    Convert belt-drive to derailleur?

Might not be possible due to the rear hub mounting design - I bet I saw a topic on this forum when somebody tried to retrofit the Automatiq to the C380 or C380+ and found out this won't work because eshifter can't be mounted to the frame... If only Kindernay was still alive I would totally...

Wanted a belt drive and internal hub - Ordered a Flluid 2-s

Did you get your bike? I don't see any fresh reviews from actual owners in youtube and thus makes me sad - looks like either it is not there or availabklity is very limited...

Charging Ebikes on EV Charging stations

You need long hours to charge it to 100%, but charging goes faster on lower battery level. I think to get from 20% to 60% you need like 2 hours or so on my bike, which is pretty good - can be combined with rest/food break if the infra is present.

SUV tires for Gazelle Ultimate C8+

I am running 50mm Schwalbe 365 on my c380+ (2021). This is the widest Gazelle frame can accept (clearance is few mm in some places for reap wheel), but it works great! Not sure if 2023/2024 Gazelle can accept wider options, but older gen for sure can't.

Were You Moving Away From E-Bikes, What Traditional Bicycle Would You Buy?

Just announced Priority Gemini with Pinion Smart.Shift in Titanium is super cool (and costs like a top-grade ebike btw)! Would be my choice probably if money not a question as an non-electric bike right now.

    Mission control no longer supported?

Looks like while Bosch is slooowly improving their app and software overall, Specialized decided to downgrade their software to rich the parity :) Just joking - hope their will restore majority of functionality soon! Nothing is worse then forcefully getting new thing, which worse than old thing!

    $10,000.00?

What is wrong with $200 fork on this particular model? It is cargo bike, so travel can't be big, also it has small front wheel. What kind of "better" fork you suggest them to place there? I doubt RockShox or Fox even making something, what can fit this bike. This is not a mountain bike - what...

New High Torque IGH announced by 3x3

This is quite common for IGH - none of the hubs allows you to shift easily under the load. Electronic shifters potentially allows shift detection to be used (I think Rohloff/Bosch combo offers it - correct me here if I am wrong). Do you have any info about their electronic shifting...

    $10,000.00?

Interesting. What about lights and bike computer, horn (if you have one)? Do you like to keep track of multiple batteries charge level and re-charge them all periodically. Why not instead connect all this to single battery and keep track of it only?

    $10,000.00?

It is getting better for sure - since I switched from SmartphoneHub to Nyon, I don't remember much issues with connectivity or functionality. It is limited, opinionated and difficult to integrate into, but core things work well. Next gen Bosch is even better from this side. However I definitely...
