Its a BAFANG motor, not canbus or uart.

I dont think it's just a feature that isn't compatable. Is there a USB cable I can stick in there and hook it up to a computer and over ride some of the locks?

Are any of the settings lock on yours? This came with the bike so I am guessing the manufacturer locked some of these settings without my permission. If I buy a factory one maybe they won't be locked?

I'd also like to know why it got stolen.

I noticed that there's some advanced settings that I've been locked out of, and I was wondering how I could get into this display with my computer and gain access to the locked settings. It looks like it's been programmed to basically not allow me to adjust certain parameters, like temp, speed...

So far 45 miles on the Atlas. The only range test I did so far is on 2 major 15% hills, many other 5%+ hills, mostly on PA5. I got home with about 15% battery remaining after 20 miles. I find the bike pretty big, especially with a suspension seatpost - and I'm 5'10. I definitely need to...

Is the range actually as high as they claim?

I placed my order a 2 weeks ago and it'll be here in a couple of days. I agree it's going to take forever for replacements to come. Those 60 will probably be sold out by September.

Shitty helmet. At least the parents are suing the helmet company correctly, but that should actually be their main lawsuit. Not the bike company. I don't understand how someone can get a TBI with a properly fitted helmet. This is why we can't have nice things. Now all the e-bike companies...

If its that expensive, one could file a small claims lawsuit against the company. It's worth the $500 lawyer fee to show up in court and defend your case.
