why do folks want a higher watt motor?

You can't make cars that can't go over the speed limit because no one would buy them. If a bike that can go 28mph legally (in some states) on roads is available, why would you buy one that can only go 20mph unless it's for cost reasons? Do you buy cars that can only go 40mph? If car drivers are...

    RadWagon bumper bike rack suggestions;

This one works. Pricey though: http://www.thule.com/en-us/us/bike-rack/hitch-bike-racks/thule-easyfold-9032-_-1684676

    Panniers?

One of these might fit: http://www.carsickdesigns.com/collections/cargo-slingsets. And if not, they can custom make some for the Juiced ODKU500's.

    52v battery?

@psychl no it won't work on the mini. The rover and the wagon both use dolphin pack batteries like the Luna 52v dolphin pack I linked earlier, but the mini uses a different sort of battery. Luna probably has that one too though, so if you can figure out exactly what it is and what sort of...

    52v battery?

actually it did, both are dolphin packs. Which is good, because i use both batteries to get to work (long commute at full power for the entire trip)

    52v battery?

I ended up opting for this one (Link Removed - No Longer Exists), but if I ever need another one I'll get the 52v

    My shiny new Radwagon (RadDragon)

Looks great! One thing to note is that without the running boards, watch out for your pannier hitting the derailleur - I took off the boards on mine, my loaded pannier bent the derailleur so I put the running boards back on. Depends on your pannier though, of course. I was using the RadPower...

Rad Power, how is it so in-expensive

Right, you can't get Marathon Plus for fat tire bikes currently.

    Radwagon or Yuba Mundo

With the downtube in particular being different, it has to be at least partially a different manufacturing line, but yes most of it does look identical. I know Rad has mentioned issues before with others selling their designs, and said it was in violation of agreements with their manufacturer...

    Radwagon or Yuba Mundo

The controller would for sure be different - Rad configures it to their own spec, and fully pots it.

Rad Power, how is it so in-expensive

Yep, I had to call in the Cavalry on the first flat (the wife w/ car). Second flat luckily was a slow leak. I'm looking forward to never having another one. The only other issue I've had is this odd rattling of the spokes, just on the back wheel. I had a shop check to make sure they weren't...

    Radwagon or Yuba Mundo

Yeah that's an odd one. It's neither. Looks to me like an early prototype (or a knock-off) of the RadWagon. Why it's not (quite) a RadWagon: the down tube is a different shape, grips are a different color, tires are not stock RadWagon tires, running board is a different shape, battery pack...

Rad Power, how is it so in-expensive

After 800 miles and a couple of flats, the only change I've made (besides panniers and a 2nd head lamp) are some Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires.

Rad Power, how is it so in-expensive

@MLB, I assume you're asking about the motor on the Rover, of which I'm not sure, but I know at least for awhile was a Bafang. The Wagon uses a Shengyi motor.

    Cargo bike trunk bag?

Has anyone heard of a trunk bag designed for the longer tail of a cargo bike? I can't seem to find one, but surely someone must make one.

Rad Power, how is it so in-expensive

I'm in Seattle as well, commuting on a Wagon. Fenders are indeed a must have in my opinion.

    Hanging your ebike

"Unless you support the weight of the bike on a second point to relieve the stress on the rim" I think this is good advice. There's a bike club near where I work where I could park the bike and shower (currently I pay for a gym but only use it for the shower, so the bike club would be a big...

    Hanging your ebike

So, you don't think it's too much weight on the rim with a heavy ebike?

    Hanging your ebike

The most common indoor bike storage is suspending it on a hook from the front wheel where the rear wheel is a foot off the ground. What do you think about storing a 70lb ebike this way? Aside from being a pain to hoist up there, is it too much weight on the front wheel rim?

First ebike, riding with kids: Radwagon or Biktrix Stunner?

I have the wagon, and use it for just about everything now...commuter (22 miles each way), errands, etc. Seattle is quite hilly, and I have no issues with power. Me+cargo=330-ish pounds, plus the 75lb bike. I added the light they sell, which I'm also very happy with, and I did have to get the...
