Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Another foothill ride before our newest storm hit this morning; where I was in these pix yesterday afternoon is now under about a half-foot of snow.

Anyone have the Stunner-x 24"? How is it for 5 4" to 5'8"?

Yes, throttle available whenever/wherever, and I have heard no slow-speed complaints at all.

Anyone have the Stunner-x 24"? How is it for 5 4" to 5'8"?

We use our bikes on fire roads up the foothills of the Cascades (4000 feet in elevation typically, and climbing from almost sea level) and my wife's Stunner X goes anywhere I go. I would also bet the Radrover's rear hub would melt into a pile of slag when hilltested against the Bafang in the X.

A Year and A Half With My Juggernaut, Here Is What I Have Learned

I just finished an expensive upgrade at my LBS to 4-piston SRAM brakes - should have opted for them from the start, based on my type of rides (10 miles up, 10 miles down) and my weight.

Anyone have the Stunner-x 24"? How is it for 5 4" to 5'8"?

My wife loves her 24" stunner x and she is in that height range. Have also just about persuaded my neighbor to get one for his wife, who is also that height.

    Changing my cassette

My bike currently has a SRAM 11/42 cassette ... I'd like a bigger granny gear, maybe 48 or 52 teeth, but I am sure there is more to it than just buying one. Can someone fill me in on what this would entail? Recalibrating/indexing with the shifter? Compatibility issues? Help a noob out.

    Replacement fenders on your Jugg?

Hi Roshan - I watched the video on your site but don't have a heat gun ... will something like a hair dryer get them soft enough to mold? And as I have the Ultra 1000 with standard inverted fork, will it attached right to the top of that fork, in the front? Yes, potentially

    Replacement fenders on your Jugg?

Anybody slap new fenders on their Jugg? Just to avoid the metallic "clang" of rocks, gravel, and chain slaps when coming downhill, I am pondering a fender upgrade to my Ultra 1000 - anybody do this to their rig?

Apples to Apples? Bosch vs. Bafang Ultra

Well I can tell you that the ride I went on last weekend wasn't a cake walk on my current bike, and I don't know why it would be on the Giant. But I also weigh about 30 pounds more than you, too.

Fat bikes; Monsters? Mobile couches? Or a necessary tool?

Gorgeous pix. As the starter of the thread in question, I feel your pain. I opted for a 3" wheelset on my bike instead of the full 4" fatties but we are birds of a feather.

Apples to Apples? Bosch vs. Bafang Ultra

Further queries to ponder: is the 80 nm offered via the Yamaha motor on the Giant enough to get my biggish self up the mountain, as opposed to the 160 nm I have on my Ultra-powered rig now? And will doing so sap its 650wh battery faster than the 840wh battery I have now? In other words, will the...

Apples to Apples? Bosch vs. Bafang Ultra

OK, that's a step up from the 500 wh battery on the 2020 model at my LBS ... found that tidbit a second ago. It sure is sharp though!

Apples to Apples? Bosch vs. Bafang Ultra

Endless, pointless, and unwinnable pissing contests sadly took over this thread, but I appreciate the attempts to steer it back. That Giant is a beautiful bike. I saw it's got an 80 nm motor but can't find any data on the site about the wh or ah of the battery? That's a crucial point. The good...

    Second back flat tire

One other last thought to the OP and other newer folks: if you got your bike in a box via FedEx like a ton of us, they tend to ship with low PSI in the tires so they can squish them into the boxes. They may actually come out of the box looking inflated but are on the low side ... and you might...

Apples to Apples? Bosch vs. Bafang Ultra

" When I see otherwise able bodied millennial dudes zooming along at 30mph without even pretending to pedal, it is not a stretch to consider what they are traveling on to be an electric motor scooter, pedals not withstanding. " Agreed. For myself, pushing a combined 290 pounds (me, bike...
