    eMTB Options For 2024

I rode the Yeti SB160E Wednesday and actually puchased it though I left it at the shop to change out pedals and add some kind of bottle mount. I have ridden the Heckler numerous times and comparing the two I would say the Yeti feels lighter though it actually is the same weight I think. The...

    eMTB Options For 2024

I have a Trek Domane HP that is my road bike and I am taking delivery of a Yeti 160E this afternoon. I will let you know what I think. I have tested a Santa Cruz Heckler a few times also.

    Loving my Domane+ HP

After a recharger mine normally shows 76-79 on Eco. I would say that is about what I get with my Domane except maybe if I use tour a few times on hills it lowers it some. I always feel pretty safe between 65-70 miles on a full recharge. Btw I average between 18.2-19.7 mph on most of my...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Your correct in that they do weigh more. Like about 5+ lbs I would assume. On the lightest power setting they do not feel sluggish especially with the tires psi being somewhere near 60. It is nice to remove the battery and it is quick and convenient. The range for me is about 70 miles on a...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

The Trek Domane HP is a nice alternative with the ability to remove the battery. The Specialized and the Trek are great bikes I settled for the Trek because of local service but could easily have went with the Specialized. I think they are both very good bikes.

    Kiox Heart Rate Monitors

Good points. I ride typically 20 miles a day three to four maybe five days a week. I am on a Domane HP and one battery charge is probably a hair under 70 miles. I do like the Polar but I need to be careful that I am not trying to look at too much on my Kiox and not at the road! When I...

    Kiox Heart Rate Monitors

Btw I bought the chest H10 and felt it was a tad uncomfortable at first but after my wife helping me adjust it I didn't notice I was wearing it on my ride last evening.

    Kiox Heart Rate Monitors

I like with the Kiox that after the ride it showed my average HR and show a graph of the different levels over the course of the ride.

    Kiox Heart Rate Monitors

Btw I got the Polar H10 heart rate monitor and used it tonight for my first ride on my Trek Domane HP and it worked great. Nice to be able to look at my average heart rate over my ride. I really appreciate the input. Thanks

7 Problems in 14 Days Ownership: 2021 Trek Domane HP Electrical Bike You Should Avoid At All Cost

Btw I have a rattle noise I think up front somewhere on my Domane HP. At times I think it could be the front wheel or the disc brake and then other times I think it sounds like it could be the motor. This is on sharper bumps or rougher roads. I have just under 1400 on mine. Love it. Any ideas?

    Loving my Domane+ HP

Last night was a 61 degree blustery Indiana day. 18 mph headwind coming out of the North which also was nice when you were going East to West, lol. So I went out and rode a quick 14 miles just so I could get a ride in. I thought here is a time I would not ride my non e road bike. It was...

I have a Trek Domane HP with the Kiox/Bosch system and I think I want to start using a heart rate monitor. What are you folks using and how hard is it to set up? Thanks

Trek Domane+ HP 7 vs Specialized Turbo Creo SL Carbon Comp

You pretty much nailed it. The HP7 which I have is definitely heavier. I test rode the Specialized before I ordered the Domane and actually it checked more boxes for me but my local dealer is a Trek store and they are friends. Pretty much that was my main deciding factor. I have to say I do...

    Loving my Domane+ HP

It is very addictive. I got it the first of March but really didn’t get to ride much until April. The bike really has such a small following compared to the Creo.
