    BEST bicycle lock ..!!

Great video Ravi . Sorry about your attack Court.I've been wondering why I haven't been approached by any dog in awhile while riding the other day. This is the technique I use, If I sense a dangerous dog approaching I stop as fast as possible and get off my bike and place between dog and...

    Cane creek anti-headshake remedy

Cane Creek unveiled a new system at Eurobike. It's supposed to solve high-speed head shake. It uses gel coated washers that go on head stock, and as the bikes handle bar begins to shake the gel will thicken and stop the shaking. Pretty ingenious! Euro- bike news article said only certain...

    Drive error

Opimax you've brought up a subject I've been wanting to comment on. On St2 chargers and others with magnetic attachment to batterys, the tip of cord should be inspected for foreign objects prior to charging that might have been grabbed by tip . Thanks for mentioning this charger feature. I have...

    Riding the new ST2 s

Nice to see St2s has made some very nice changes. Plenty of rear fender clearance now. And the new seat post clamp looks like will do the job. Looks like a new frame too.? With range improvement, headlight, elec.shifting, nice saddle, should be a very nice ride.

Battery charging tips for electric bikes

I think I've read researching what is needed for ebike. lithium - ion battery fire is water . What your trying to do is cool the battery down it will be spitting sparks and spewing toxic smoke in great amount. Fire exstinguisher will not reach the internal ignition point of battery fire.

Battery charging tips for electric bikes

I also use a fan Charly, one of those square ones sold at any hardware store plugged into a separate outlet than charger , and is usually over 90 degrees too . Outside with battery removed from bike protected from sun and rain on a fire proof table, one of those metal ones so air can flow freely...

    Recharging at restaurants, stores, etc?

Google Danny Halmo . He had a story about his trip in August issue of Electric bike Action magazine. Your right he figured the cost for asking to charge if I remember right was around $25 for 4,000 miles!

Looks like Stromer has decided on allowing buyer to choose their own personal rear rack on the ST S . Please allow ample bosses for attachment if so.

Taking ST1 on 7 day trip--Hitch-Mount Rack and Rain?

I ditto MLB . Kuat dealer recommends no cover. Turns into a sail. Just cover electrics. and then remove to air out, and then reinstall at next inclement weather. SUV' S sound like a different wind effect.

    ebike carrier question

Yes it has the city kit. And the rear tire has a strap that goes around the wheel at the bottom. The strap slides on a track to where ever the center of your wheel lines up. I use tool to get a good grip on the end , and the strap has teeth that lock it down.

    ebike carrier question

I wondered the same thing. My Kuat NV 2 has the type of locking arms I believe you are referring to.Like the bus system uses. I haven't seen any rubbing or damage to my St2 front fender .The design Kuat uses is very functional and stable. Though I can't give a long term evaluation .

Hitch or trunk rack, and weight limits

The Kuat NV 2 is heavy , awkward, and tedious to install and remove. But you won't believe the quality. I'm like you theft seems to be a major ingredient in this e-bike thang. Up to you . I remove mine. I would probably haul it into a motel if traveling . This thing just shouts bling! You...

Hitch or trunk rack, and weight limits

I have similar sized car. Get Kuat NV 2. High dollar and high quality . Very heavy to install and remove is the only negative.Mine has the smaller sized square pipe for attaching to hitch. Most other cars I see have the larger one. On our size car I think they require smaller . It's amazing the...

    Issue or User Error

My key did the same thing on my ST2 86. I carefully sprayed some Try-Flo with straw attached inside battery compartment up towards lock area. Also when you turn the key to remove your battery, just barely turn it to the right. Only enough until it releases latch. No more. This solved my key...
