    Either a lemon or one with a spring for a 300lb person lol....there's hundreds of members that have this seat post and have tried all else before and have never returned to go back to another. It's too bad you didn't return it and get another suntour that wasnt defective or with the wrong spring...

    Actually....Helicoil brand threaded inserts work extremely well and unless you can't drill straight are extremely tough and pretty hard to screw up.

    I agree..Helicoil kits would actually make it stronger than original but cost more for the kit than replacing the damaged arms..unless you happen to have a Helicoil kit with the proper metric thread and pitch laying around..🔧🔨

    You don't have to read a manual..lts six screws and you tap on the oppositee side with a screwdriver handle and it separates.

    Totally disagree...2900km on one of my 4 Lectric bikes that we bought plus my friend Kimbo with 2500km who is also on this forum...that makes 5 bikes...they all have been awesome..minor adjustments have been needed but ..otherwise fantastic bikes...I'm pretty sure you are the exception to this...
