I'm excited to try this. My bike is apparently in New Mexico now and actually shipping. Are you saying you were in fact able to charge the bike WHILE riding it? Do you have a folding or flexible solar panel planned? Can you share a pic or two of the set up? Thanks for posting an update.
full suspension, mid drive, hydraulic brakes, 1000watt, 20aH, 26x4 fat tire, 660mm handlebars, cloud nine seat, prewired for an extra battery in an enclosed rear rack mount, regenerative braking, and a stem key insert point.
Here's one I made for my 55 lbs. Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. And, here's the same trailer mod with some finishing touches. Still waiting for my ebike or I'd link some towing shots.

My guess is this will cause more boutique manufacturing. In a monopolized industry of less than a handful of major bike component manufacturers this was bound to happen. Either way, prices will go up and quality will go down for a couple years anyway.
I think the 2.0s all ship with the 9.6ah Samsung now. Hoping my OG XP comes with the LG 10.4ah. If they're ever back in stock I wonder if a spare 10.4 can be had?
If you have any mechanical/electrical abilities at all this would be a great time to take reasonably decent bikes and convert them to ebikes then sell them on social media websites to become self employed... until the shortages cripple the motor/battery delivery.
LCD Display MPPT Solar Regulator Charge Controller 24-72V Boost MPT-7210A and at least a couple hundred watt solar panel is supposedly all you need on your trailer. Use the panel as a trailer cover and carry your camping gear in the trailer cargo area. Liquid is too heavy. It should work fine...
at a glance, Sinch is nearly double the price of xp at $1599. no fenders standard. no rack standard. I think the Sinch 500watt/750watt peak motor is less powerful than the lectric xp with it's nearly 1000watt peak. It does have front suspension but so does the Lectric nowadays. If you were lucky...
I got two of these GoPower Plus 45000mah clearance deal from wally world currently at $30 each also about 4lbs. when I found out they used (18) 18650 lithium batteries. Planning to use for similar. I'll be adding a solar panel to my bike trailer and rotate between the two. I can't answer your...
I prefer fat tires. Not for looks, but for riding on dirt/gravel paths, sand, snow, mud, and grass. If you primarily ride on pavement/concrete a skinnier tire will increase range. But a fat tire will handle that okay too. Just not as far.
What Lectric did with a folding fat tire bike took guts and money. They sourced a common frame and all the components to create a single point availability of a quality product at such an aggressive price point that the "big boys" likely had to take notice. Additionally, they created a customer...
