Wish I could order a spare battery.

Not many accessories or parts have been in stock in the past 12 weeks to sell.

Order numbers went from 55k to 79k in less than 3 months. About 25k Lectrics sold in 12 weeks. Roughly $22.5 million worth. With everything going on in the world I'm surprised we can get anything shipped around the planet. Much less a 63lbs ebike with a lithium battery in a tv box.

Only you know your kid best. But I'd think the person should weigh more than the bike at least. I'd also suggest limiting allowed pedal assist and making him/her study for and pass a home school version of a motorcycle license test. If I were 7 I'd be unlocking 28 mph and sneaking it out soon.

How'd it work out? What size solar panel did you use?

Don't turn it on anymore while it's wet. Put the display controller unit in a ziplok bag. Fill with rice and let it set overnight or longer til dry.

Mine are 167w each. 334 total. With a decent solar panel and a 7210 mppt or CKE300 charge booster the set up starts to get pretty interesting and affordable.

I've started gathering a few things to prep for some overnighters. My bike is actually shipping and somewhere in MS. best I can gather. Here's some things I've gathered so far. Still need a bunch of stuff but making a little progress.

If a US company did their own manufacturing and also invested in local bike shops nationally for points of sale and eliminate shipping all together in could offset some of the costs.

Was this a slimed tire? Mongoose 20 x 4s appear to be in stock through Amazon at the moment. According to buyer's comments this tire is actually a Mongoose branded Chao Yang that was standard on some Lectric XPs. A cheap tire but likely better than nothing.

"How important is customer service and support?" is a question that may differentiate Lectric from other brands that "claim" to ship faster. Whatever you decide be aware that a new outbreak in China will soon cause price increases and extend shipping delays that may not get resolved for several...

Do these fold? I ordered red 4mm cleats to install on my stock pedals. Will see how it works when I get my bike.

Does the one you're using have exhaust fans on the sides? Does it get hot in the panniers?
