    Disappointed after purchasing an e-bike?

I also have a Rambo Krusader 2.0. I bought it late last year because I wanted the all wheel drive feature. It is very different from our Gazelle bikes in a number of ways. It is chain, not belt drive. It, too, is heavy. Having had the Gazelle e-bikes, I knew somewhat to expect. I has allowed...

    Disappointed after purchasing an e-bike?

No, I bought two Gazelle Ultimate C380+ bicycles in 2022. They are expensive, but I think the old adage applies here, "Buy Once, Cry Once." While it isn't always the case, sometimes you do get what you pay for. One of my other hobbies is amateur radio. Some people in that hobby try to buy the...

Horn, Bell or Voice, how to warn others of your presence and intentions

I am giving some more thought to getting a bell. The one that was on my Gazelle I removed because I didn't think it was all that useful. Is there a certain aftermarket bell that people on here have really liked?

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

I took a quick ride last night after work. I saw a pair of eyes looking down on me from a tree near the paved multi-use path and took a quick snapshot. We have had an unseasonably mild winter in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, so I have pretty much ridden all winter on my Rambo Krusader 2.0.

Coast Hi Vis Lighted Safety Vests

Someone on another forums tipped me to this. Coast, who makes flashlights and headlamps, also makes lighted safety vests. This might be a good choice when riding an e-bike. Is anybody here on EBR currently using a lighted vest? https://coastportland.com/search?q=Vest

"Best advice for new ebike riders" from us

I think one thing to remember with new e-bike riders is to not overwhelm them with too much information right away. That is why I kept my advice pretty simple. As they gain more experience, then may be the right time for more advice, when they are ready for it.

Biking to Work Isn’t Gaining Any Ground in the US

I have never biked to work. My e-bike is for recreation. I am less than 14 miles from my work and it is almost straight north of me. I was only four miles from work at my previous job. I never rode it to work then, either, but I always thought about it...

I rode the Mississippi River Trail yesterday. I started in Rosemount MN and rode to Highway 61 in Hastings MN. I even had the opportunity to see part of the bison herd in the Spring Lake (Dakota County ) Park. Earlier this year, when the bison calves were younger, they have a distinctive red...

    E-Bikes On Legal, Paved Trails

On another forum, someone mentioned that there is an area near them where e-bikes are legal, but generally responded to with frowns, presumably by local residents. I realize that the answer to this will vary from place to place, but is there any sort of consensus on here where people prefer to...

Keeping feet dry in the rain

How well are your Frogg Toggs holding up for you? My brother-in-law bought a pair and they didn't last. (One good cough, belch, sneeze or fart and they are done for.)

Do you know your hand signals?

This is out of New Hampshire and for ATVs and snowmobiles. Could this come to e-bikes, too?

Is Anybody On Here Using A Garmin Bicycle GPS?

As posted above, is anybody here using a Garmin bicycle GPS? If I were to get one, I would want one with touchscreen and multi-band GNSS. Of those four that have that, the Garmin Edge 840 is the least expensive. However, when I look at the details of the Garmin Edges, they come preloaded with...

What Are My Choices For A Fat Tire E-Bike?

I removed the "belt-driven" part. My wife and I were at the Minnesota State Fair today. I kept my eyes open for e-bikes and the two brands I ran across today are Denago and Rambo. The Denago I saw stated it was a Hunting 1 model. Further, it stated it is a new mid-drive mountain bike designed...

What Are My Choices For A Fat Tire E-Bike?

I live in Minnesota on a gravel road. Once we get snow, the gravel road is dangerous for e-biking. However, I am not that far from asphalt. I am considering a fat tire e-bike for casual winter riding. What are some of my better choices?
