    Alternate Crank set and pedals

True...the very idea of pedals loosening against their threading seems not possible. I've got road pedals coming with toe clips, and I just unthreaded mine to be sure they weren't too tight. They weren't, and of course I had greased them. Never-Seez next time, as on the crank bolts.

    Worlds Lightest ebike?

I'll bet there are weight limitations. My Rad City is built like a brick, due to forces generated by the motor and regen, and the avoirdupois of some of it's riders, and I include moi.

Disconnect your battery, it's ready! Written on the charger is the explanation of the lights. If the generator puts out a true sine wave, it should be ok...check with others on that.

First eBike, please help me decide from these few

There's riding, which I'll call (for the purposes of this discussion) expecting the bike to do it all, and there's climbing a hill, with the bike helping. Yesterday I climbed a road on the Niagara Escarpment, basically the hill that causes Niagara Falls. My Rad City helped, but I was in first...

Carbo Folding bike thoughts on indigogo

If it holds up, it sounds like a great advance for a city bike. I'll be following its progress. There are quite a few promises being made here. Noted there is no brand specific fo yet.

    AAA

It is a bit of a motorcycle, for this purpose...hehe? @Amy , I use AAA for my plowing business, it's cheap, as they will take the Jeep with the plow. Otherwise, it's security for everyone...AAA Plus will tow up to 100 miles.

    Shopping for an ebike

Rad City is a great bike...which I'm turning into a road rider...their customer service is great. I'm down to 255#, and yes, you want to ride all the time! I got a spare battery, and it's all only 2k$!! Today's ride...46 miles. Almost half a battery charge left, as I used Pas 1 mostly, until I...

    AAA

When calling, just ask for a flatbed, as I do with my plow Jeep. Towtrucks are becoming obsolete. I specifically asked AAA about breakdowns with a bike and they said they would take it.

    AAA

The American Automobile Association covers it's members, not their vehicles, so they will pick up you and your vehicle if you need them to. I'm a member and called them, and they said that they would. If you break down on a road, of course. We're probably a couple of decades from battery...

    Juiced Bikes 40 mph!!

Let those who would, do. On a deserted road, I hit a deer at 40mph...my maxi scooter was totalled, plexi windshield broken into hand-sized pieces, and my full gear tested...two belly slide scrapes went to the bone. I walked away, because the plastic took most of the force. I'd not want to...

Upright body position e-bikes with throttle that can also go 28mph in pedal assist?

An adjustable stem, such as comes with the Rad City, allows almost infinite positions, combined with rotation of the handlebars. So far, I've tried quite a few...then added drop bar ends for even more possibilities.
