I need to add somthing for you, actually some of the LED display also have the communication protocol, usually we can check from the number of the connector pins, 4pins for anolog and 5 or 6 pins for protocol . if a LCD is using the same protocol with a LED display, then they are replaceable.

Exactly! the display may use same plug, but you cannot say they use same communication protocol or firmware, it may unusable if not identical.

For rad ,we use the same communication system, so I can say we works well on that. For KT system , sorry I don't know well about their products, you can contact with their website for trouble shooting , using the series number on the displya. I think they can help you.

NO, the plug is limit choice for manufacturers , but there are random protocols and changes in display, so you should not only check them by connector.
