This is a clean build, it is a dual battery bike and has what looks like an abus folding lock on the seat tube Probably has 30-40ah of batteries on it I don’t care if my bikes look like ebikes

For me would probably be inclined to take a bigger battery for that weight difference

I have the archon and have the changed the thumb throttle 3-4 times trying various for better smoothness and had no problem, any bafang mid drive throttle will work has been my experience but did not find a smoother throttle

sure others will chime in that know more, but could you have been in too easy a gear and not getting enough torque on the pedals to get the motor to give full power???? that would be my first thought does it have a power meter on it so you could see how much it was putting out the mid drives are...

No I have not owned specialized but have ridden them and other brose bikes and think the brose motor is my favorite out of the euro type drives If I had an extra $6000 and more space would probably have one in my garage I have owned 2 Yamaha mid drives that I loved and have ridden Bosch bikes...
