    Interbike 2014 Coverage

Bring us the inside scoop, Ravi...do Vegas girls dig the ebike 'vibe'?...or better yet...have you stolen the heart of a pedal policeman's gal yet? :)

    Cool Article

You're a private non-unionized entrepreneur who delivers milk door to door. Do you provide your employees motorized transportation in the dead of winter...electric bikes when it warms up...and 'pedal bikes' the rest of the year? Or do you standardize on one machine (continually improving...

    Recommendations for cycling rain wear?

If you desire a parka that is designed to be big enough (hunchback shaped) to fit both a backpack and a helmet (your specs.) I'm assuming 'on' a bike 'at' speed...you're probably looking at simply an extra large rain suit with a hooded draw-string to keep the hood from flying off your head.

Thanks, James. I'm a big fan of ebikes in the private sector yet only in the public sector when they can be proven to be the more economical/time managed method of providing service to the people (i.e.. a method which the private sector would default to as well if asked to compete for the same...

    Interbike 2014 Coverage

Hello Larry. I repeated all of my previous questions above along with at least 'my' understanding of the current situation (as reported widely by others) just in case you missed them. With all due respect, 'be patient' is a lot easier to accept if at least some of our points are being addressed...

    Interbike 2014 Coverage

Thanks, calvin and exactly to my point. I'm assuming that (IMTB's) Mike VanAble's insistence at the Summit last month that they(we) meet with one of 'their' guys in the room would be of importance here...yet there seems to be no assurances in the referenced article (for the consumer) that...

    Interbike 2014 Coverage

Let's take for example organizing around our ebike related rights at the 'international level' last month (the IMTB Summit; which doesn't even come around but every two years): Not a word from anybody. The only other opportunity (that at least 'I' know of) to organize around ebikes at the...

Lowest Cost solution for using E-Bikes for delivery?

I look at the last two posts and hope that the (ensuing) discussion can be referenced later. Cost vs power vs 'how much will you (or force someone in your employ) pedal'. I also can't imagine that this argument isn't the same in Europe or anywhere else where cargo is hauled commonly with overall...

Dash, thinking about weight and my entry level fork.

From someone who has intentionally weighed down the Dash beyond even an 'abnormal' rider weight (whatever that is, I guess one would have to ask Michelle) with 'abnormal' gear and who runs the Marathon Plus tires somewhat for that reason..I would go with the extra battery to reach a 60 mile...

Amp Hours when battery is fully charged (Onboard Diagnostic Test)

I went into this whole ebike thing with the expectation that I would never be happy with the battery for the simple fact that I have never been necessarily thrilled with every 'single' (supposedly quality) Li-ion cell that I have been long sourcing for my flashaholic habit (see...

Felt Sport Electric Bike with Bosch Performance Drive

We really appreciate your insight, Chris. I hope that it translates into sales from members here as I continue to learn and you're always offering more. I would have no problem whatsoever purchasing from you over the phone from just your contributions here. (btw, I don't know Chris from 'boo').

    Demo Problem

There are a lot of lists on where to start but I think that we're all in the same boat...we have no idea how this technology will hold up...it will most likely be obsolete very soon...and we're paying waaay too much for what we're receiving when we don't do our homework. My best advice is to...

Amp Hours when battery is fully charged (Onboard Diagnostic Test)

080...on a fully rested battery (a few days).

Which drive systems allow you to 'feather in' the throttle up to 20 mph?

Thanks...it'll be a lot easier (thanks to the two of you) to link this post and give folks a range of models to choose from should they decide that this feature is important to them.

New Dash, some problems (update: fixed after brake lever adjustment)

I would give your LBS and/or Currie a ser.# and see if you are dealing with a pre or post bb cup tightening issue bike if you haven't tightened it yourself or were told otherwise. Beating your best time by 10 minutes gives folks an idea of just how fast this bike can be. ;)

    IZIP E3 Peak - 1st Impressions

I understand what you're after. What I attempted to offer you was in response to the following: "If Currie is not interested, I would like to know if we could just purchase a 3rd party electric bike battery and wire it up..Can this bike software be reprogramed after manufacture and what is...

    Electric Bike Carrier Racks

Thank you for taking the time to offer those suggestions (others here as well). I called Saris after noticing that they compared the rack above with others which simply clamp the front tire and strap the back at the wheel well. He tried to steer me to the (frame mount) "Freedom" series after I...
