Don't charge your bike battery above 80% and don't ride below 20%. Maybe, maybe not.

LOL, I put a Schwinn Seat $25 from Walmart. Old asses need more seat.

What type of ebiker are you?

Selling my Canondale as soon as I think I want deal Craig’s list buyers. I’d give it to some that’s needy, but it’s a jumbo frame and it’ll take someone big.

Don't charge your bike battery above 80% and don't ride below 20%. Maybe, maybe not.

When it comes to charging my battery I use the K.I.S.S. system.

    Suggested improvements to Radpowerbike models

New to the game so I’m pretty happy with my “18” Rover. Put on an 11-30 freewheel before I hardly started riding. Would like less wattage difference between PAS 2 and 3. Put on a 46T chain ring and between it and the freewheel I feel my lower gears are more usable. My bike attracts a lot of...

Erik Buell launches Fuell E-bikes and E-motorcycles

I bought new BSA lighting I bought a new BSA Lightning in “68” same color. I had more fun on that bike until I missed a curve and hit a tree. Totaled, bent the frame in half.

    RadRover -vs- RipCurrent

I choose the Rad because of the better display and the twist throttle. As far as brakes I wouldn’t want them any “better”. Wheels locking up and sliding out from me on sandy roads isn’t “better” for me. Same as locking up the front wheel on dry pavement.

What's it like to ride a fat bike?

I’ve been riding 300 to 800 lb motorcycles for 60 years. My RadRover seems light as a feather and handles like a sports car to me.

    trump tariffs

Rad Power recently lowered their prices by $200. They are absorbing the tariff and probably selling more bikes because of this. They only other e-bike I saw besides my RadRover was more Rads in our AZ winter place. Mine sure attracted a lot of attention and questions this year.

Interesting Home Build using 20V Dewalt Tool Batteries

Just saw that yesterday. Great build, but I guess it doesn’t have peddle assist.

Who spent a lot on their E-bike? Was it worth it?

I don’t have much money, but I don’t owe anyone. Anything above the price of my RadRover is not a consideration. The Rad is probably one of the best purchases I have made. At 73 years old I still ride my 28 year old Harley, but my smiles are just as big on my RadRover.

Anyone put a bigger chainring on their Rover?

I made mine with the notch and I am going to fit a piece of key stock into the notch in the freewheel is real stubborn. Keep it from distorting. Posted this in the general section but it didn’t get much press. Cant believe Rad is the only bike with this problem.

    Park freewheel tool mod

This has been discussed in Rad Power discussions but I thought others may find use for it. Changing the freewheel on my Rad Rover gave me fits. I did a lot of searching but I could never find the problem. The tool won’t fit over the wire connector or the axle nut that won’t slip over the...

Anyone put a bigger chainring on their Rover?

Wish I’d seen that before I destroyed a perfectly good freewheel. I even did a search.

Last test ride - buying this weekend!

Group ride? From my motorcycle days any more than 2 or 3 is a PITA.

400 miles on my RadRover report

I plan on airing back to 20lbs when I get home next week. Roads are much better. More level too.

400 miles on my RadRover report

This thing is a blast! I’m in AZ for the winter and got to use it a lot. 400 miles doesn’t seem like much, but with more fake than original joints a being an old bugger I couldn’t ride my Cannondale more then a few miles before being worn out. 20 mile rides and I have plenty of steam left. Rough...

    Suntour suspension seatpost

If you got a fat bike play with the air pressure in the tires. Roads in my winter place are beyond ruff. I started at 20lbs, it road like a rock. Was looking at seat posts. Down to 10lbs now, you won’t believe the difference. When I get back for the summer I’m sure 20lbs will be efficient.
