Thanks, this is a pretty big specialized dealer in San Diego so I am sure they have checked the warehouses but have been coming up empty. They have to find one somewhere though. I will just be patient and wait it out.

They told me that they are just not mass producing these things yet so they are hard to find even at other stores in California. And they are the only ones that sell these ebikes in San Diego. They are going to look elsewhere out of state so hopefully they can find one fast.

Checked with my Farmers renters insurance and they will cover $15000 worth of possessions including our 2 Turbo's for around $200 a year so that's a relief. Didn't want to pay as much as car insurance... :-)

I am getting a new Specialized Turbo S and thought I would check on some insurance. I got a quote from Velosurance just for theft and damage. Was over $800 a year. Does that seem right? I don't even pay that for my new $40K Jeep. I don't know if I can justify that even though the bike cost $7500.

Will these fenders work on the 2016 Turbo S? And can I also add a Topeak rack on top of the back fender? Not sure if they will bolt down to the same screws.

Well the 2016 S has the headlight on the handlebars so that's not an issue but I had the X and S side by side and the head tube on the S is an inch or 2 longer than the X so I think it will throw the geometry way off if I throw a standard shock fork on there. Maybe at some point someone will...

I know the 11/12 mph throttle mode on the Turbos is just a little bonus thing, but if you use it for any great length of time or miles at a time does it hurt the bike in any way? Or are you only supposed to use it in little spurts? Whats the longest/farthest anyone has ever used it for?

Do you think the Turbo X fork would go right on the Turbo S without modifications or any issues?

Well I plan on doing that too but would like a new front suspension fork also for the front end. I would assume it could be done if the Turbo X has one?

RockShox Paragon Gold 65mm 700c Suspension Fork Disc Brake Black Dug up some info on this one. Anyone know if this would work/fit on the new Turbo S?
