Talk me out of a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Eagle 2

That's a good point, and the made in USA frame is a huge plus for Biktrix. However 52v and 30Ah vs 48v 21Ah is also a huge thing. It is the same motor, controller, most of the components are the same. The frame is the real difference it seems. $3000 more for a made in USA frame is a tough sell...

Talk me out of a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Eagle 2

The Rize RX looks very tempting now that I know about it, it's 52v, can add a full second battery to the frame, same motor, fenders and rack, same aluminum, comes with a suspension seat post, and is half the price. I don't need full suspension, it's almost all road for me. Why a Biktrix over the...

Talk me out of a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Eagle 2

Interesting, and it's 52v instead of 48. I'll check it out. Price is a lot better, that's for sure. It's closer to a Juiced CCX except mid drive which is really what I want. I asked them some questions, but I may switch to the RX. Thanks!

Talk me out of a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Eagle 2

I do like the Z1 but only the small is even an option. I looked there before Biktrix. 110 feet above sea level to 335 feet in a few blocks.

Talk me out of a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Eagle 2

Will do, that's a good point. I really want something from Schwalbe for resilancy, and their biggest E-50 rated ebike tires go up to 27.5x2.8. I'll reach out and ask them.

Talk me out of a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Eagle 2

I'm looking for a mid drive, very high powered commuter bike, because my commute has some crazy steep hills - like hard to even walk up steep. I had a hub drive bike, and even unlocked so it put out 1300w I could barely make it up them standing and putting out around 500 extra watts myself...

    Crosscurrent X Log

As soon as I posted that second commute I got a bad case of the flu, I finally feel up to riding again starting tomorrow. Attached are pictures of my rig. It pokes out a little further than my handlebars, which is still closer than I'd want anyone to get to me. A good thing though too. I think...

    Pannier bag recommendations

You can solve all of these problems with a Topeak out front water bottle mount, attached to your frame at the bottom. It's what I did to keep the stock rack. Adds a mounting point for panniers that want to "grab" something.

    Crosscurrent X Log

    Got Juiced? RipCurrent S Log

I've had my own issues with Juiced support (A lot of them, and a lot of the same ones people here have). Despite people with no stake in the company defending them to the grave (Why are you defending a corporation so fervently? You owe them nothing. They owe US, the customers, answers and...

New Ripcurrent S owner - cool bike, frustrating support

I'd never go on a long ride without the ability to remove the rear wheel for tube replacement, but a lot of people do. Before I got the special wrench I had this in my pack https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F51179Q/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

New Ripcurrent S owner - cool bike, frustrating support

Juiced sells a rear tire removal tool, which is a uniquely shaped wrench. You can get the rear wheel off with a normal wrench but risk rounding the corners of the bolt due to the angle.

    Got Juiced? RipCurrent S Log

They sent me a box to send my battery back in. One thing I've learned, the support can be bargained with. If they want you to pay for return shipping, be very adamant about not doing so and they'll probably back down.

    Got Juiced? RipCurrent S Log

That's a new issue to me. Can you check the voltage at the pins? How do the pins look? Sounds like you might have a problem with the BMS.

    The JUICE GRIND

Well I wish I had known that was an option. My CCX did the same thing, with about 100 miles on it, and they were insistent that I send it back at my own cost. Which was $160 in shipping from UPS. They returned a working wheel, but I never got any reimbursement. It was a pretty terrible...

    Battery charging times

https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/charging-to-80-without-a-satiator.24763/ Charging is uniform until the battery reaches a high level of charge, and the charger then switches to "trickle charge". This rate is 2 amps of current. The trick then comes in converting volts to Ah (charge...
