@Frank Guard You could try changing the lithium backup cell (CR2032) in the "computer", costs maybe 2$. I think I had the same (losing pairing all the time) once and a battery replacement helped. Also make sure that the connection points are clean of corrosion or dirt. BTW, great price you got...

I am not as pessimistic about the battery. I think it would still be fine even if the maintenance charging was neglected somewhat. After all, it is only a couple of years old. But yeah, you should probably seek <50% of the new.

I am a little over 6' (probably 32" inseam) and riding an XL Turbo. No problems in my opinion. However, I got the XL because of a good deal when the only option for that price would have been a size M frame.

I read from Battery University pages that charging a lion battery in temps below freezing is damaging to them. I am guessing that is why Regen is disabled in those temperatures. Not sure though why the Turbo mode would need disabling - possibly too fast discharge rate could be harmful as well...
