Gorgeous bike! I can see why they sell so many of them over other bikes. Congrats.

The only thing I have funded is empathy to this campaign. In terms of patronizing, this is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Back when Sonders first started this and when yahoo got excited over it, I warned people back then. Obviously, it fell on 7,000 deaf ears.

Guys, I think contributors are feeling bad enough. This redundant babbling is doing no one any good. You two should just exchange phone numbers and have a long conversation to get it out of your system. The persons with the least amount invested are the most vocal. We get it, you guys are smart.

Interesting reading... Sounds like the genius is winging it. Delivery time The transit time from China to most locations in Europe and the United States is roughly 29 – 35 days. However, keep in mind that it can take a few days – sometimes up to a whole week – before your cargo is loaded in the...

For all who bought a Storm bike, I hope this is all true. If it is considering it has peddle assist, this should be a good deal no matter what. I am excited for you guys. Maybe dreams do come true... Better late than never!

Can someone please explain to me how a 26 X 4 inch wheel accommodates a 29 X 4.8 inch tire with 29 X 4 inch tube? I am thoroughly confused by these Specs. My knowledge of wheels and tires is apparently really bad at least when it comes to fat wheels. I always thought you had to have the same...

I might add that a pedal assist without a display means (like on the Prodeco bikes) that it's "all or nothing". It is exactly that, a switch. This would drain the battery very fast. In order to truly save power a peddle assist needs varying levels of assist along with a more sophisticated torque...

I was being sarcastic but even a switched base one cost $150 such as the one used on Prodeco bikes. Yeah, in massive quantities maybe the price is $80 but considering the already low profit margin it is hard to imagine. Why isn't there a picture of one on the bike??? He keeps adding upgrades but...

Wow! If there is peddle assist then there has to be a display. This adds significant cost to the bike. How does he do it? This man is truly a manufacturing genius. Also, why not a video as opposed to a couple of pics with the bike in the dirt? If all this is true and folks get their bikes, this...

A 36 volt 10ah battery that weighs only 6 pounds. Very nice! Companies like Currie and Stromer should take notice of this new ultra light battery technology.

Since when is 700 yards equal to .7 miles? I thought there were 1600 yards in a mile... According to the computer, average speed was 12.6 miles per hour. It is interesting that it says assist level 2...obviously the bike does not have peddle assist. Or does it? I am confused! Why not a video...

6000 foot Climb 25 mile ride

Well, sorry but I was ill prepared for all of the rain, hail, wind, and freezing temperatures. It was 70 degrees and dry at the base of Mt. Lemmon and a whole different world near the top of the mountain. I got as far as nearly 8,000 feet before I shut her down and turned around due to impending...

ST2 ability to torque - how does this work and how helpful is it?

Wattage = Voltage times current. Wattage = Power --For the same current but voltage doubles, so does the wattage. For our homes we are limited to 30 amps of current. To dry clothes faster they double the voltage to 240 volts because amperage is limited to 30 (due to gauge of wires in homes)...

The Sondors Bike is Unravelling a Bit

"Sorry to me pedal assist is a gimmick if you know how to properly manage your throttle." This has got to be most ridiculous statement regarding E-Bikes I have read in a long time. I don't even know where to start... ri·dic·u·lous rəˈdikyələs/ adjective deserving or inviting derision or...

6000 foot Climb 25 mile ride

This is a very active forum so I am posting here. Has anyone here on their Stromer attempted a long steep climb? Is so, any complications/concerns (motor getting hot ect...)? This weekend I am going to attempt to tackle the 33rd toughest climb in the USA in Tucson on my Eflow Nitro E3.

    Nitro E3 vs Stromer Elite

Here is my bike. I am 6' 2" and weigh 215 pounds. With the bike rack bag loaded and a 70 ounce Camelbak attached to me, I rode 32.8 miles averaging 18.1 mph with about 900 feet of climbing and head winds about 30% of the time (mostly west). Amazingly but I don't believe the computer, the...

Thanks opimax & Jayvee. Your input is appreciated. Ultimately, hopefully this thread gives folks thinking about which bike to buy, a more educated and informed decision. As you guys have said, it comes to personal taste. But...Stromers are really, really out selling the Nitros. Another nice...
