Has anyone received their May pre-order?

That is almost correct. I received the shipping notification today. I actually just received my refund statement a few minutes ago.

Has anyone received their May pre-order?

It was a large brushed aluminum with the 19.2Ah battery.

Has anyone received their May pre-order?

So I had a crazy turn of events the past few days. I was smack in the middle of the pack for the second batch of RCSs. A guy I've been chatting with online who received his RCS at the end of April had been keeping me updated on his bike. He had a bunch of small QC issues- stripped bottle cage...

    Stromer ST2 2017 vs 2018, advice needed

I actually just got off the phone with the dealer. In the U.S., the only differences are the Omni and the headlight. He wasn't sure about the European models, but thought that those would include a horn rather than a bell, and thought there might be a different taillight. The differences...

    Stromer ST2 2017 vs 2018, advice needed

I ordered a 2017 ST2 today. Like Techman, I'm wondering if anyone has a comprehensive list of differences between it and the 2018 model year. I got an incredible deal on it and a 2018 wasn't even an option for me due to cost, but other than the new Omni (anyone know if that's available as a...

Has anyone received their May pre-order?

According to an email many of us received last week or the week before, the 19.2Ah batteries were scheduled to arrive in San Diego on 5/14. Has anyone here heard whether that has happened? Also- If folks from the second shipment of RCSs could post here when they get a notice their bike has...

    Luna Basic 48v Charger

I ordered a second charger as well, but opted for the Luna 48V advanced charger rather than another basic charger. I'd love a Satiator, but if the Luna works (I'll report once the RCS actually shows up), for a hundred bucks it includes the ability to charge at 1,2,3,4,or 5 amps, and allows to...

Rip Current S - owner problems & solutions

I ordered mine 2 weeks after you. I’m in the same situation. I did receive an email last week explaining that the larger battery packs were in transit and were due to show up in San Diego on May 14th (yesterday). I’m not sure what has to be done once the batteries arrive, but I can imagine...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

That's great to hear, Asher. It seems bad experiences are more likely to be reported than good ones. It's nice to see a good one.

Two months and still no resolution

These reports are really beginning to concern me. Ive actually started looking at other ebikes again, even though I've been on the waiting list since late March. I can wait a long time for a bike that delivers what it promises, but if their service isn't great, I'm not sure this is the bike...

Why did Tora stop using dealers to sell bikes?

The bike on the Zotros Facebook page isn't a Juiced clone. Zoom in on the image. It is a Juiced CC. You can see the decal. The website link is dead. I don't think they exist.

Rip Current S - owner problems & solutions

My guess is a loose spoke. Try pinching them together in pairs near where they cross. If it one is rubbing and moving against another you might even be able to recreate the noise by moving them against each other. I had a bike years ago that made a very similar sound and after tearing my hair...

    Juiced Bikes Rip Current

I can't speak for WalkinTarget, but I actually like the mid-drive every it as much as the rear hub motor. The drawbacks for me were lack of torque-sensing assist, price, and (like juiced these days) lack of availability. I prefer the straight top tube look of the RCS as well. The whole bike...

CCS vs RCS -- 650W vs 750W -- Narrow vs Wide Battery

The website's delivery estimates have proven to more than a bit ambitious. If you do decide to order one, you should be prepared to wait two or three months. I know it sounds cynical, but that seems to be their MO.

Riese & Müller Introduce New Charger and Supercharger E-Bikes to the US

Without getting in to real electrical theory, on an ebike amp-hours translate roughly into distance, voltage translates into speed. In an "all other things being equal" scenario, the bike with the higher voltage battery will be faster.

Riese & Müller Introduce New Charger and Supercharger E-Bikes to the US

...And the fact that they only offer 36 volt batteries. If there was a 48V version I would buy it immediately.

    Charging a CCS

I bought a Luna charger as well to use at work. The charger came with a bare female XT60 connector plugged into the male end.. I bought a 4pin XLR from Amazon for less than $5, cut a length off an old extension cord and soldered the XT60 on one end and the XLR on the other. I've run...

Has anyone received their May pre-order?

Oh wow. I’m sorry to hear that. I think everyone on the waiting list will be sorry to hear that as well. Hopefully you won’t get the same email again next month. Fingers crossed.

    Integrating a second aftermarket battery

The Satiator makes all kinds of sense for various reasons, but I would like to get to my destination without stopping. Much of the trip I plan to take is very rural and I don't know if there's even a place to sop and charge where I would need to do it. I have a friend who has ordered a juiced...
