Handlebar Jack - A new Ultra Portable Bicycle Repair Stand.

Awesome product! Just got mine they will come in very handy with my R&M with belt drive, where if I have to, and I will at one time or another, remove the rear wheel to repair a really bad flat come in very very handy. Practical, functional, compact, and well made.

    Product Improvement:- Feedback to Bosch.

Deleting multiple "Unnamed Activities"? I ended up with about a 100 of these in my ebike connect app. Would be nice to have the ability to clear them or selectively clearing them somehow, deleting them one by one is nearly a sainthood task. Unless I am missing something.

    Different Lights

Note: I did get information on changing the default "program" for this headlight via the high beam button. So now on power on the light is off, high beam light button will turn it on or high beam, or turn it off again. Just what I wanted.

Stem & headset adjustment on a Delite?

Helps, heck that more than helps! It answers everything, if you don't work for R&M already, then they should hire you. MUCH appreciated. Brilliant Marc!! Works like a hot darn, I never thought of looking for programming for it. This is just what I wanted! I know the bike industry is going...

Stem & headset adjustment on a Delite?

Thank you for the feedback. How is this end turned so that the > is up, and turned back again I assume? It's round and the hole in the middle has no (torx/spine or hex) insert.... The little things: Belt tension information. Factory set. email R&M no reply. checked Gates app for testing...

Stem & headset adjustment on a Delite?

Loosening A&B to adjust the angle as shown in the manual is ... not working. It will not budge even with taps of rubber hammer, wasn't going any further than that, will see if the dealer can do anything. Noted some rust on metal on the underside, I mean they should have painted things better...

    Bags compatible with Superdelite rack

This bag came with my ride. Similar to the R&M bag. I have it on the back for now until as it blocks the light a bit on the front. Looking at moving my light, but will see on this later down the line. One step at a time. https://www.roswheel.com/collections/tour-series/products/tour-trunk-bag

    Different Lights

My Kiox display with the M99 mini works the same as the Nylon display mentioned. I don't mind the light on all the time but wish the option was there to turn it off. Would have liked to have an option to move the light to the front of the carrier (so I can use the carrier without blocking the...

R&M Front Carrier Bag, First pictures !!

Roswheel makes a similar bag. https://www.roswheel.com/collections/tour-series/products/tour-trunk-bag But the installation of just about anything on the front carrier blocks the light if installed on the handle bar. My ride came with the M99 mini light and it does not have a plug, wired...

2019 Homage Noisy Frame/Swing Arm Issue

Squeak/chirp under load can be caused by the belt drive train I have found. A light spray of a dry silicone lube like CRC's Heavy Duty Silicone I found will make it disappear. Here's a link which might help. https://www.cyclemonkey.com/blog/tech-talk-addressing-noise-issues-gates-carbon-drive

Etube user report on Adroid tablet

Anyone notice that the latest Etube software no longer has the ability to create the user report? If true it sucks, even if it was hard to find it did provide good information.

13 Months and 17,000 kms with Ohm STEPS and it keeps on going, and going, ..........

I have the E8000. Mine may be a bit of a custom job as I was a long time Ohm rider. I'd not worry about weight a few lbs here and there are not going to make that much difference in a ebike. The group set = XT, not sure what or if other options are available. Oh ya on the suspension! Body...

13 Months and 17,000 kms with Ohm STEPS and it keeps on going, and going, ..........

Can't honestly say how I got the Di2, -if they had asked me not sure if I would have chosen the option, having had it now for 18 months you'd have to use a crowbar to pry it away from me ;-). Best I can offer is ask them to add it to the build. Understood on the range, battery anxiety is...

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

Just in from Shimano: They have stated "that the drive unit should able to function within the temperature range of -10C°~50C°" I may not be able to duplicate the issue this winter as it seems to be a 1 out of 3 cycle this year with no real cold snap out here, but good to know the...

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

Thanks for the feedback, well understood, but, you missed the main point. The motor doesn't work when it has been sitting overnight when the temp is down to -5, so it can't, won't warm it up. Even when I did warm the motor up enough to get it to engage, -used a hair dryer on the housing for a...

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

Response from Shimano is, wait for it, ............... "Unfortunately Shimano does not (or has not) published the operating temperature ranges for its drive units, only for batteries." Ouch. Not what I hoped for but an answer all the same. Forewarned is forearmed. I'm putting a small 20...

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

Affirmative on posting, as well as your suggested cause. Would like to avoid an overhaul but willing if required, and if "available" just hit 21,000 kms ... Another month or two and temperatures will not be a problem anyway on the wet coast, but would like to know either way..

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

I will post what I get back from Shimano when I get it. I'm not a believer unless I have clear information and or have test results which back up the numbers. Until I do, if it's below -4 I'll drive rather than ride.

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

Thanks, I have seen this, but I'm not convinced, based on my issue that this is the drive unit's operating temperature range. If it is then it mine is not working anywhere close to the spec as it was well above -10. The way it is worded and every other reference to temperature and STEPS...

STEPS motor operating temperature range (low side)?

Shimano does not list a motor operating temperature, they only publish a battery operating temperature. The later is down to -10C which is not very useful if the motor operating temperature is only -5C. Bosch's does publish this specification, it's -5C for two motor models I checked. Has...
