    Before retirement, almost 4 years ago, it was closer to 16K a year. Retirement has slowed me down 😁. Put more miles on my car shopping for replacement Saturday than I had all year.

    Looking to get a spare Gates belt for my Multicharger

    Rear sprocket is relatively easy as well. There's a retaining ring that holds the sprocket. Undo and it comes off. Just did both and a new belt today. Discovered a few teeth on the old belt coming off, just before a trip tomorrow. Glad I checked!

    You might want to check the wear on the front and rear sprockets, ideally you should change them out when replacing the belt. I compared my existing sprockets with a new set @24,000 kms and the wear is pretty obvious. Not doing so will likely reduce the life of replacement belt.

    16 months and over 17,000 kms on my CX based R&M, -motor has not missed a beat. Hopefully if anything goes it'll be before the 2 year warranty has expired.

    Thanks for the quick response William. I very seldom use anything more than ECO even on steep grades, but over the next few years (and/or if I have to get any more joint replacement(s)) as I hit 70 I'm sure I will be using the higher assist modes.

It might lessen the fielding of requests for adjusting the current levels which this thread has several of and maybe increase user satisfaction.... I'm not sure if it makes sense, but...
