    Lectric One

I'm waiting for real world reviews. Do you really have to stop pedaling to upshift? I hope not, that's annoying and stupid. I think all the "influencers" that got invited to the pre-launch don't know how to use the Pinion transmission. I don't fully understand it myself. So I'm waiting as well.....

After 3 days on my brand new Level 2, a flat occurs...

Welcome! Cage drivers are angry because they're stuck in a cage and your'e out enjoying the fresh air and freedom! Oh, and flats spoil rides.

Evelo Omega vs Zen Photon Pro for next E Bike

I think you can add a second battery to the Photon Pro as well?

    Mamba savanna anyone

Any chance there is a digital copy of the owners manual on the website? A manual you could screen shot or make into a PDF type of file? Check YouTube as well. They have everything.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

I'm not good at posting links but Melt Banana is THE BEST Japanese band! My wife utterly hates the greatness of Melt Banana, and most other Japanese bands for some reason. She does tolerate the Japanese band Sigh though.

    Am I adequately covered?

I've done the Tannus and Mr. Tuffy at the same time and STILL got a flat. Flats are like death and taxes, they can't be avoided. But doing extra steps (Tannus, Tuffys, Slime) will help. I carry one of those Slime Scab patch kits. You can fix a puncture without removing the wheel. Oh, and it's...

    People are strange.... Free ebike.

My co-worker works a part time job at Walmart. He sees an older guy (mid to late 50's) riding a cheap mountain bike to Walmart. This guy goes a good distance of 7 miles and has a few bridges to cross. My co-worker has a Addmotor he rarely rides and feels sorry for the cheap mountain bike guy. So...

    Tires becoming colorful?

Gum wall tires just look classy! And white walls as well. When I was a youngster we had colored tires for bmx bikes. I like weird and colorful myself.

Looking for handguards for Winter use

Motorcycle grip guards pop in my head but I don't have any links to post. I had a set on my Adly scooter but gave them to a friend when I sold the scooter. They bolted on the bar by the grip. Like $20 off Amazon. Can't remember the brand but there were a bunch of choices. Also used the bar end...

New Jersey Would Be Foolish To Require E-Bike Insurance & Registration

Our state still has the licence decals. It's mainly for theft recovery as its not enforced/required but the local police station will provide the decal for a small fee. I went to get a licence decal for a friends bike (I had it here for repair and went past a local police station during the test...

Fancy Soft or hard shell armor (possibly with airbag?) for ebike rider (20-30mph)

To the original poster, just get some motorcycle gear. See if there's a Cycle Gear in your area. The Bilt line is good stuff for a honest price. They also sell pants that look normal but have armor in the hips and knees.

New Jersey Would Be Foolish To Require E-Bike Insurance & Registration

Who is going to actually enforce this policy if it goes into effect? So many people drive cars with no insurance as it is. In my state, Virginia, our DMV doesn't bother to verify insurance-and it's required. And if you get caught they don't even impound the vehicle, send you on your way with a...

    The Roaming Radrunner here

My old RadRunner 1 ended up with a co-worker. It was a tad tall for her (shorter female) but she rides it regularly. I offered to trade her my Lectric XP 3.0 but she declined. She named the RadRunner "The Green Machine". The facts that the Lectric had a proper display, suspension forks...

    Ebike I want to pedal

Lectric XP 3.O or Ride1Up Propella. Just upgrade the seatpost to a suspension post. Under $1200 and will do what you need. Other option is what was mentioned above, build your own.

    Bicycle Helmets With Lights

I finally got a new helmet and added lights to it. The lights are crazy bright! The lights are the same as Prairie Dog uses and the Wavecel helmet has strong magnetic mounts for lights (the ones i bought) or camera mount. Not a "cool" helmet like my Cats In Space Nutcase helmet but this one has...

    Zen Photon Pro- Preorder | 1040Wh UL Certified battery | 500W nominal/900W peak power Torque-sensing motor w/ Throttle | USD 2999 | CAD 3999

I have a guy at work that has had Gates belt drive bikes, not ebikes, since they came out. He has over-tightened the Gates belt and it beat the crap out of the rear sprocket/cog. Then, the belt was to loose and it skipped and messed a belt tooth up. He rides everyday, rain or shine, on a 20 mile...

    Zen Photon Pro- Preorder | 1040Wh UL Certified battery | 500W nominal/900W peak power Torque-sensing motor w/ Throttle | USD 2999 | CAD 3999

One quick thing to note, or ask for. The Gates belt can be tuned for tension with a app. on a phone. The other analog method is with the Gates Carbon Belt Tension Meter part# 74010073. This is the correct tool to set the tension on a Gates belt and the price of around $50ish shows this. Don't...

    Zen Photon Pro- Preorder | 1040Wh UL Certified battery | 500W nominal/900W peak power Torque-sensing motor w/ Throttle | USD 2999 | CAD 3999

I find it funny that Zen had only one sprayed a custom color and not just do a smaller run while the color is loaded in the paint booth. My work had a powder coater at one time but it only did orange. After a few months everyone at work had something powder coated orange. Car wheels, bicycle...

Thinking about an adult electric tricycle

Before I forget. If you have a Pedego dealer in your area take her for a test ride with a Trike Electric Bike model.

Thinking about an adult electric tricycle

If your'e just looking for something to bring the daughter along I'd look at a Lectric Xpedition. It would be a affordable experiment in two person transport that won't let you down. My wife and I use one to bump around the 'hood and whatnot. Downside is its two wheels so if the passenger...
