    2021 Liv Amiti E+ 2

Hi Kim, I am sorry that I'm just now seeing your post and questions. For some reason I don't receive any emails alerting me to new posts on this forum. Anywho, I had to put the entire e-bike quest on hold, as we were in the process of building a house and then moving, plus caring for our...

    2021 Liv Amiti E+ 2

Yes, as I mentioned above, not in the market this year, so that works to my advantage. Hopefully by 2022, low stock won't be as much of a problem as it was last year and now this year. Another thing I like about "women's geometry" is that often in my very small size, the cranks are 165s...

    2021 Liv Amiti E+ 2

Thanks to everyone who replied here. Strangely, I did not receive email notification after the first couple of posts so stopped checking back. Just thought to do so today! I'm not likely to get an e-bike this year. Stock is really low, and this is not the best time for me financially to buy...

    2021 Liv Amiti E+ 2

Thanks Stefan. Unfortunately, in my case, the difference between Giant and Liv is more than just marketing. I am 5'1", and the smallest size Fastroad is recommended for those 5'3" and up. I really do need a women's (or child-sized!) bike. I've been buying road bikes for years and know this...

    2021 Liv Amiti E+ 2

Thank you @Stefan Mikes ! I noticed that 15 mph checkbox and had no idea what it was about. Poor website design for sure! I appreciate your pointing out the Thrive E+ EX Pro, since they do explicitly state 28 mph. I have heard good things about Yamaha, so I will take a close look at this...

    2021 Liv Amiti E+ 2

I just discovered this model (2021 Liv Amite E+ 2) during my ongoing e-bike research. When I searched on the Liv site and clicked "Class 3" on the left, this was the only bike that came up. Does anyone know if it is actually a Class 3? On the specification page, I couldn't find any mention...

Thanks @Dallant! I'll save these photos - they provide excellent detail!

Thanks @Dallant -- that stem looks great. I definitely have the Allant on my shortlist. :)

Thanks. I took a look at their Cross Connect model, which might fit me in the size Small, just barely, with the standover. Would be something I'd have to try. The Cross Core size Small has a higher standover and would not work for me.

Thanks, I don't have a problem with the q-factor on my standard MTB (Jamis Dakar), so I will probably be fine with a q-factor up to 170 mm. Just wouldn't want to go wider than that, given that I have narrow hips.

Thanks. I did look into the Moustache bikes and really like the "kids" model Samedi 26 (with 26" wheels and 165mm cranks!), and I am sure it would fit me, but only one US dealer came up in my search, in New York, and I am in NC, so that is not likely to happen. I will keep Q-factor in mind...

Thanks for the idea of Moustache...I will look into them. Are you talking about q-factor or crankarm length? I definitely can't use cranks longer than 170mm and would prefer 165s. Not sure about q-factor, but I do have narrow hips, so it could be an issue with a mid-drive motor.

I had no idea this was even an option. Interesting!

Thanks, FlatSix911 and Marci jo, this is my thinking. I have read reviews and articles that suggest Class 3 e-bikes for experienced roadies, of which I am one. I am definitely not as speedy as I was in my 30s and 40s, but I still enjoy riding aggressively from time to time, especially when I'm...

Thanks. As I mentioned above, I'm not buying until next year. I'll check back later to see if there is a smaller size. It does look interesting, though I'm not sold on a throttle. I really want a bicycle experience, not a motorbike. I will try to keep an open mind!

Of course, and that is what I am trying to do, by starting to do my research a year or so before I actually plan to buy. I tend to keep my bikes for a long time (my current non-ebikes are 2004, 2007, and 2011 model years), so I would rather spend more upfront on high quality than buy something...

Thanks. I am new to the world of e-bikes do am not even sure what a "eurospec" type bike is. However, I'll certainly check out Biktrix and see what they have to offer.

Pretty much. I am pretty set on a Class 3. I do love the 2021 teal color in the Verve+ 3, though!
