I just went to the website after reading this. So it appears that Helios frames are coming in mid-June. And Pushkar is out of brakes (until January 2022!!!). Not sure if he's held on to stock for the founders, but my hopes of riding anytime soon are evaporating....

@mradel do you have any updates to share? I'm a Helios founder, but you're building the bike that I originally wanted. @pushkar what would be my cost of changing right now? I want all the founders benefits, but the cargo frame! Picky, I know, but given that my Helios isn't showing up anytime...

I'm seeking opinions. I have a bike rack like this: Is this good enough to transport my Helios from Pushkar's facility to Washington DC (approximately 450 miles)? I'm not likely to transport the bike much after the initial pick up, and I'd prefer not having to buy something new. Thoughts?

What are you referring to here @dunksalot? Just curious, as my perception is that they two are fairly similar with the exceptions of the shift methodology, cage and gear ratio.

...Hitting refresh hoping for some good news. As a Helios founder, my take is that you have to wait at least a year before becoming totally frustrated and annoying to @pushkar. But YMMV.

It's one thing to make a bike for review, quite another to fulfill orders for hundreds of them....

Totally agree with this. In DC, my Nexus three speed is totally fine (not always comfortable), but fine. But this is on a pedal beach cruiser. On an e-bike, it'll be perfect. All the Jump and Helbiz e-bikes for hire in the city are basically single speeds and do very well on our hills.

I have one on my beach cruiser (which is also my city bike until my Helios arrives). Living in Washington DC, we have hills, and the three gears are adequate. Mind you, this is on a regular bike, so on an e-bike, I think the Atom would tear the hills up with no issues.
