    It's a Very Tough Business

Funny though, Pedego reports a lot of profits, and for a while here in CO, there was really only a few eBike shops locally you could check out. Small planet eBikes (independent Pedego dealer) and eSpokes4folkes which is a Pedego dealer, but now there are Pedego stores popping up all over the...

Rad Rover E-bike got drenched in rain

Does it power on at all? Did you clean the battery terminal and use a water resistant lube to prevent corrosion (it's called electro something)? It could be the controller not working, unless you're familiar with these types of electrical components your best bet is to wait for RR to contact you...

Recommended ebike for using with a child carrier

Pedego makes a nice cargo bike co-designed by Yuba called the Spicy Curry, and YUBA specializes in cargo bikes. Personally I wouldn't put a child on anything less than a solid built cargo. http://yubabikes.com/ https://www.pedegoelectricbikes.com/products/...

Surveilance-video showing a Stromer ST2 and a Lapierre Eden Park being stolen

Damn, they definitely had been in the bike shop with in the last 72 hours. I'd check video feed of everyone who test rode that bike. They probably just knew the dollar value, and nothing about the actual bike...lol call stromer and have them turn on the GPS. Case closed.

    Denver Electric Bike expo

No she wasn't hurt bad, just bruised her hand and scraped up her knee a bit. She did enjoy riding the EM city, but I don't think she's quite sold on them just yet. All in good time. lol

    Denver Electric Bike expo

I tried all the Stromers, some Raleigh's and Kalkofes and Easy Motions 2016 650b. It's a great event, everyone was cool and getting a chance to ride every type of ebike in succession is nice for comparison. The DI2 electronic shifting is a game changer. On the St2s and one of the Raleigh Misceo...

    Denver Electric Bike expo

Today was the first day of the D.E.B.E and man was it fun! I had a few trouble with my Fatbike that caused me to end up driving there, but that worked out okay, because I got to be @Court Rye and Pete Prebus who are like ebike internet stars, lol. Anyways I got a chance to test out a few bikes...

    Cross Current

Appreciate the tip, however the CC with the upgrade is still cheaper (minus accessories) then my BigFatty I built. I love the fatty, but I'm looking for something more nimble for some summer fun.

    Cross Current

So good to hear all the great reviews. I've been considering getting a summer ebike, and haven't been 100% convinced on converting my gates carbon belt drive bike yet, so the CC sounds like a great bike since the price is comparable to buying a kit and decent battery.

New eBike coming this year- Vanmoof

This bike is kinda cool, even though I'm not sold on front hub motors yet. We'll have to see when @Court gets around to reviewing it.

Anyone here joined the National Bike Challenge?

I've been waiting on jump cable from Luna cycles. It took a few days longer than two weeks. So I've been re routing some wires on my bike. I just finished putting new power poles and re doing the connections. I log some mile tonight

    Missing the "Compare" feautre

This was a nice little feature that I used quite often. The ability to compare two or more bike spec's right next to each other really helped me look at other qualities of the bike that I "thought" I wanted. @Court any chance of bringing this feature back to EBR?

Anyone here joined the National Bike Challenge?

Of course as soon as I open my mouth, my battery starts acting up. Looks like my problem is the bms on my battery shorted out or something. Going to give this ARTICLE a try as soon as I can get some $$ to buy an adaptor.

    A car replacement? YES!

PS. 17.50 x 365 = 6,387.5 $ a year so his average in the video isn't far off from other reports. Where as your estimate of 11.00 per day comes in way in the low end of 4,015 a year. So if you add them both up and divide them by 2 for the average of 5201.25 a year to operate a car in both...

    A car replacement? YES!

@pxpaulx I believe your numbers are a little off. I've personally done some research on this topic for some college reports, and though I don't have them on hand right now, a simple google search of "The true cost of owning a car" will produce numerous articles stating the average is between 5k...
