    Hydra - 52v to 48v

I went from 52v to 48v... I did have to send my motor to WW to change the setting. If you use the hacked version of the software you can modify it yourself now.

X1 No power output when pedaling with 500C display

Hmm I don’t really know.. don’t think you should need a programming cable for it to function. Walk mode works? Does throttle work? If only pedaling doesn’t work seems like issue is torque sensor not plugged in or just not working.

@loamoaf Ah yeah I need black cranks, sorry. Soon as I saw Fuel EXe chance of me buying any existing ebikes went to 0. I'll never get a noisey motor when a quiet one exists. (quiet middrive at least) But while a 40lbs/300w/320wh MTB is super interesting, just so much money. I mean $10k...

Wow awesome info, thank you so much. Guess I'll be ordering a set of bearings... and bearing puller. :) Probably also going to order new crankarms.. getting closer to cutting this one arm off. Tried to use a gear puller on it but can't really grab on. I've heard people say to heat up crank...

Have 2500 miles on bike. Only thing that bugs me.. there is tiny bit of play with the axel, somehow? Pulling crank arms side to side I can see movement in gap between chainring and frame.. and I can hear it a little, more when I'm riding though. Removed pedals, that's not it. Went to remove...

I got power meter pedals, still have 160mm WattWagon-branded Miranda crank arms. I'm super paranoid about pedal strikes, lol. Not going to run these 100% of the time on Hydra. Just doing it now for fun and while they're on here being super careful, haha. Eventually going to get a gravel...

When you turn on it defaults to eco mode with level 1-5 you use +/- buttons to switch between. When you press and hold + or - button for a few seconds the display turns red and is in sport mode instead of eco.. and you have sport mode level 1-5 which is really just level 5-9.

Okay so best purchase I've ever made, bike related, is getting Hydra.. or really just an eMTB. SECOND best purchase is power meter. I like tracking numbers for some reason it turns out, haha. One thing I like to do now... eg most recent ride.. 30.86 miles, 2554 ft elevation and 2h11m moving...

Yeah read about that a bit but my phone's screen is cranked and at this point I don't care. Haha. If it breaks it breaks. :) So far so good.. maybe.. few hundred miles since I got it. No issues so far.

    Hydra as a commuter?

I went from A4 to MT7 brakes on front, both used the same 2-piece Magura rotor, it was not changed. A4 rubbing was never issue. MT7 I've bled them 4 times, got the LBS to do it once. They always rub a tiny tiny amount. When riding I don't notice it. Its mainly when I'm stopped if I move...

Hydra Black - Has anyone received theirs yet?

Interesting, does X2 have the VESC controller? I dislike dropper that came with my Hydra, a 130mm-ish Cain Creek. 130mm isn't enough, think I have base up ~60mm.. probably want a 200m or something. Also its not huge deal but yeah it too is really hard to push down. When riding its not big...

Oh and one other thing: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=100777&start=1300#p1717226 The M600 and M620 have same torque sensor, and turns out it peaks out at 40kg w/175mm arms. So some of the blame I put on Innotrace is just a limitation of the torque sensor. And perhaps...

Okay got two things... First is battery holder: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BRNWBMR It just barely fits around huge top tube. Easy-enough to put phone in and least with my Samsung S22(?) Ultra I can't imagine it coming out ever. It is a little annoying how it covers the 4 corners of phone...

    Hydra as a commuter?

Man I love look of the black battery cover. For first two weeks my bike had an unpainted cover WW sent me while painter fixed some flaw with inital paint job. So I had rode around bike with the unpainted (basically black) cover for those 2 weeks and man look grew on me. When the painted...

    Throttle that works

I want a throttle that doesn't suck. I bought all the ones I could and they're all junk. But yes I did not try any twist-grips.

    Throttle that works

The actual throttles all suck, and Innotrace controller doesnt really do anything to help situation. I think best is so lower power on throttle... 500w for example doesnt hit too hard. I still think best solution is to remove throttle to better place the level control though.

Doh, the level selector broke, must have had it tightened a bit too much, it got hit and instead of turning the ring around handle bars broke -- its just a piece of plastic. Can get the display and the level selector for $85...

    Basic Hydra suspension

I switched from 52v -> 48v. Mainly for 720wh -> 840wh. I've noticed no downside. Both because I don't care about peak power, and I imagine difference is really noticable.. 8% higher voltage won't make up for 16% smaller battery. Also to note bike was designed for 48v. The the battery case...

Well rode up this climb, stop at top for like 5 seconds, and when I start to go again get this jerking for a second or before I stop. I look and rear through axle had backed its way out.. and when like I stopped and I guess no pressure was on it it was able to slide another few mm and actually...

    Travelanche broken pivot gusset.

Yeah I'm starting to check bolts on my bike more frequently. I lost a nut awhile ago and then ended up going through most susption bolts regreasing and adding a drop of threadlock. But recently found a bolt half turn loose. Kinda lucky up till this point cause I check so infrequently...
