    Help with frame size

I'm 185 cm (6' 1") with ~84cm (33") inseam, and recently got a size 51 Superdelite. I did get the GX package which does raise the bike's standover height 2cm according to R&M's spec sheet. I'm glad I got the 51 size. I never feel like the bike is too small for me, and I can comfortably stand...

Replacement front fender clamp for Superdelite

So I emailed SKS' US branch and asked them. They said that the OEM part that I have is something specific to the OEM German di vision, so to get an exact replacement I'd need to go through R&M. But that the 40-43mm part that I bought should work just as well on my forks. They gave me a couple...

Replacement front fender clamp for Superdelite

So the part arrived, but it doesn't fit. I got https://sks-us.com/collections/fender-parts/products/frame-clamps-for-mounting-fenders?variant=33875806191748 in the 40-43mm size. According to my micronmeter the forks measure 43mm. But as you can see they are quite a bit too small. I figured they...

    Hi

Yeah, there is an o-ring on the rear as well. It's definitely harder to use IMHO, but it should give you a rough gauge if you are sagging a lot more then normal or not.

    Hi

With any bike you will have peddle scrape when you lean heavily into a turn. You should always* be turning the peddles so the inside peddle is at the top of its stroke during a turn. A full suspension bike will usually let the peddles get a bit closer to the ground, but you shouldn't have to be...

Perfect, found it based on that, and Amazon has it in stock. I'll have it Monday.

Replacement front fender clamp for Superdelite

The local county tar & graveled the previously nicely paved road that I live off of. Within 2000' of riding on the new mess, I got a flat tire due to a 3/4" long knife shaped rock. So I need to get a new tire, tube and I'm going to add Tannis while I'm in there. In the process of all of this, I...

    Nyon MY21 - Initial Thoughts

The left one with an A starts the planned route from the beginning. So if the route was from A to B, and you are at C, it will route you to A, and then B. The right one navigates from your current position C directly to B. So for me, the right one is what I want 99% of the time.

    Frame tool bag for Superdelite

I ended up moving the horn/light assembly to the right. I could get it much closer to the grip that way.

Schwalbe Johnny Watts (and other Schwalbe SUV tyres) User Club

Yes, the JW do appear slightly better on Schwalbe's website. However they are using such a course scale to rate the tires, and using a different scale for each tire. So comparison is hard. I'm not sure where you are seeing these values on their site. JW's use a 0-10 scale, where the Super...

Schwalbe Johnny Watts (and other Schwalbe SUV tyres) User Club

Most multipurpose things are by definition not as good at each of those things as a single purpose thing. I agree that JWs seem ideal for the riding you just did. But your amount of dirt/mud riding is way way higher than mine. Like I said I'm not unhappy with their performance. I'm just curious...

    Frame tool bag for Superdelite

Without relocating the lock a large water bottle won’t fit. A small one will though.

Schwalbe Johnny Watts (and other Schwalbe SUV tyres) User Club

My Superdelite came with Johnny Watts. So far I like them and don't have any complaints., but I am starting to think about which tire I will get next. I'm on track to ride ~6000 miles per year, so I'm expecting by the fall I'll need replacements. 95% of my riding is on pavement, with the...

    Frame tool bag for Superdelite

I tried swapping the lock to the lower mounting point. When I did that, it gives me a little more length for a standard water bottle style tool box. Going to try https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081DH3STZ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1BMYXFTS7NTJR&psc=1 as it seems like it should fit just right.

    Frame tool bag for Superdelite

I'm interested in buying a small frame bag that will mount to the standard water bottle holder mounts on my 2021 Superdelite. However the area is pretty small, and I haven't found a frame bag that will fit there, and allow access to the factory lock. I plan to use the bag to hold a couple basic...

    Some more questions

The other consideration is that the front rack as a factory option appears to cause a change in how the front headlight is mounted. Without the rack from the factory, the headlight is mounted to the handlebars. With the front rack from the factory, the headlight is mounted to the bottom of the...

    Bosch error codes

So this morning I rode the bike 1.5 miles after the range hit 0. At this point (4% total battery) the assistance stopped. I then charged it fully, I just checked and it charged to 100% without any error. So I guess it probably was just some random first hiccups that I hit before.

NYON question...notice there is a setting for volume?

Mine makes beeps when the display changes to show the next turn. Just enough to make you notice that it has something to tell you.

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Same. In your case I wouldn't be too worried if I had the hand tools, but didn't have the tension gauge. You could always just try loosening it a tad without it, and see how it goes. As long as it's not slipping cogs, it shouldn't hurt.

Known Issues & Problems with Riese & Müller Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

On my previous bike (Not a R&M, but it had Gates & Enviolo & Bosch Active Line Plus) I experienced belt vibration when the belt was too tight. This occurred when the belt was within the recommended tension by gates. I think it was ~40 lbs, but it's been 6+ months since this issue. I lowered the...
